I first came here because I am a classpass user and noticed they had a hip hop class. It was a small world because The Fitness Loft had brought my friends and I back together through the Hip Hop class with David!First of all, it is a very nice and clean gym. You can tell it's new and for being downtown, they have plenty of parking so I never worry about that. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and nice. I've developed such a relationship with them that we have started cracking jokes with them.I have used their gym and they have plenty of equipments from weight lifting to cardio for you to use. I mainly take their fitness classes that are offered. I have taken Zumba, Hip Hop, Anything Goes, Bootcamp, and Hard Core. My favorite is Hip Hop, but I have enjoyed all of them!! You will get an amazing workout regardless. The employees have such a family feel to them. Everyone is always laughing and talking with one another. They typically post recipes for healthy meals and based on the season and/or holiday. A must try gym!!

I've come to this gym for over three years and I love it. Always clean, SUPER safe with Covid protocols, and I love their involvement in the local community. They frequently host donation drives or fundraisers for local charities. The classes are my favorite part of this gym (included in the membership) but it's a full-service gym that includes a sauna, so it's perfect for anyone looking to workout and support local business!

I've been to fitness loft several times as a classpasser. I really love it and if I didn't pay for classpass I would consider joining monthly! Maybe one day...I've been to plenty of gyms in my day and this one does it right:-the class I go to is motivating and welcoming - spacious, plenty of equipment in good shape - clean!!!! Wipes and hand sanitizer on hand!- key code lockers- a true holistic approach with healthy eating recipes posted and events planned- they recycle and have bins. Love this!- it doesn't smell (ha!) and it's sunny inside :-)- parking is free - alchemy, the juice and healthy eating cafe, is the bomb.com (see precious post)

I came to try this place out on a guest pass. It was hassle free experience to visit on a guest pass. It's a nice clean looking fitness place. They have a variety of equipment with nice views of the area outside. I was impressed with the locker room area. They have digital locks for the lockers and they have a separate sauna for men & women and it was clean. That's really important for me. I did see a list of classes they offer so that's nice. I don't know if they are included or cost extra. I was told that the membership was $65 a month and I personally think that's a little expensive to not have a hot tub, and steam room. Overall it's a nice gym to pop in if you live or work in the area.

I've been to this gym a lot more. And I have no choice but to bump it up to 5 stars. My biggest thing on my initial review was the amount of equipment. I still think they could use a couple more machines. However I am still getting in my full workout. I do have to get a little more creative and step outta my normal routines and excesses a little. But it's not a hassle or take away from my workouts. I still work all my muscles and muscle groups just fine. And with everything else they offer I HAVE to give them a full 5. Everyone in here is friendly and courteous, No loud people who scream for attention or anything like that. Nice and quiet and efficient. 5 stars.**ORIGINAL REVIEW**I'm always down for s good gym sesh. I always find myself in the gym at least 4-6 days a week. So i like to think I take this stuff serious. So I've been at the fitness loft a couple of times now, and I can say that it is a very nice gym. They have very nice equipment and some of there stuff you won't find in other gyms, for instance on the leg extension machines they have like little led screens that count your reps, this is the first place I've seen anything like that. It's not nothing to major but it's the little things that count. All there machines are well kept and the floor is always neat with not a lot of loose weights floating around. They offer classes and even offer a virtual reality class when you workout. It's pretty cool and different.Another thing great about this place is that it is never too busy. You should rarely find yourself waiting for any machine or any bench. That is one of my favorite parts. There are a lot of gyms where you can be waiting for a squat rack for days it feels like. Not here! It's the perfect amount of traffic. Their locke rooms are very clean and well kept as well. You don't have to worry about any weird or nasty smells. They do a good job with keeping everything sanitary. And every locker has a keypad for locking away your belongings, which is wonderful. Now to the only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars. Even though their equipment is very nice and clean and better than any gyms I've been too. There just isn't enough. I found myself not being able to get my full chest workout in, because they didn't have a decline bench. And i would think that that would be a no brained to have in the gym. Also there is some equipment you would need to finish other workouts as well that you would maybe expect a gym to have. But honestly this doesn't bother me as much because of what they do have to offer and how maintained it is makes up for their shortcoming in this department. The place is set up very nice. It sits on top of Alchemy which is a like a health juice bar/ restraint thing. Then the whole building is basically lit by natural lighting which is very nice. None of those intense bright lights beaming down on you at all times. They have some cardio equipment downstairs and upstairs, the equipment downstairs is overlooking Parsons ave and a nice view while getting your sweat on. I like this gym a lot. They have something for everyone and is very clean. You have enough things to get most of your routines in with only a couple things missing as stated above. I would for-sure recommend this gym to anyone. If you know someone who goes here. See if you can use their guest pass. You won't be disappoint. Read less

Love this gym! I've living in Columbus for 4 years and I've tried others in the area like snap fitness and other chains but I just keep coming back to the loft! It's clean and accommodating and the front desk staff is always kind and helpful!

I joined six weeks ago (early March '23) and have been impressed by the open, airy facility that feels much different from the comparatively cramped gyms I joined previously. I'm 74, so a "Silver Sneakers" member (though I hate that name). I must say the best thing--hence the 5-star rating--about my experience to date has been working with personal trainer Ron Smith II. He is knowledgeable, explains the purpose of the various workouts, is always encouraging without being patronizing. This guy is terrific -- a real asset at The Fitness Loft. I am fortunate that he was able to take me on as a client.
