A small hip little bar that has a good selection of brew and a variety of seating options. Only one person appeared to be working on this day, but he was very friendly and answered any questions that we had. We ordered and went upstairs. There was hardly anyone in the building as it was early afternoon. we chose a nice couch to sit down with a great view out the window. Music was playing softly, and it was a nice environment to sit and relax while enjoying the beer and conversation.

The Daily Growler just moved to the top of my list for Columbus bars / taproom rooms. What a cool space with SO many patios (I think 4 total), including one with an amazing city view. There is plenty of seating inside as well, both downstairs and upstairs. The taproom shares a space with Kolache (delicious savory/sweet Czech pastries) which is open for breakfast/lunch, and then turns into a bar/brewery in the afternoon. You can bring food from outside (food trucks right outside by the back patio of AOH), as well as your pups. Truly my dream bar.I've tried a few new beers and ciders here. They have mostly local / Ohio beers but also some taps from California and other places in the MW. They had a nice dry cider that I've gotten a couple times. Look forward to coming quite a bit in the summer.

What a SPOT! The selection, the vibes, the bartenders! You seriously cannot go wrong with a visit to the daily growler. We end up here a lot, as we'll be walking around the neighborhood and randomly decide to stop. We love that we get to try new beers every time, and we know they'll always have something we love. The entire staff is so nice and every single time we go, we have a great experience.

I'm upset I haven't reviewed Daily Growler earlier considering how often I've been. Maybe I'm just unconsciously trying to keep a great spot to myself! So daily growler is a great little brewery im the Brewery/GV area. They always have a great selection of beers and I've always been able to find something that fits my mood, whether I want a sour, a stout, some lager, or some weird out of nowhere beer. I've never been disappointed with my selection and knowing that beers are very individual in terms of taste, I don't think there's much reason to rate them for y'all. However, if you don't know what you're in the mood for, my boy Kenny always has great suggestions and really knows the available selection. The space is really nice with a great little outdoor patio with an awesome fire and a fun upstairs area with various pinball machines. Haven't actually been to the upstairs to drink as I think its an event space for COVID reasons. However, the outdoor patio was great and my friends and I almost always have it to ourselves, hence my hesitence to share the existence of this brewery.Honestly, The Daily Growler is great and definitely a fun place to chill. They've taken great COVID measures and I've never felt uncomfortable here but again, maybe its due to always having the place to ourselves.PS. Go Cocks!

If I were still living in Columbus, although I'm not a beer "maven," this place would probably still be one of my favorite hangouts!! We got a quick intro to this cozy local beer "mecca" on the outskirts of German Village during our recent tour with Columbus Brew Adventures, and my/our only regret is not being able to spend a bit more time there, enjoying the small but very comfortable set up and 1,001 (only slightly exaggerated!) local brews.Great service, nice set up, awesome rotating list of beers, and a wonderful "surprise" outdoor fireplace that was just calling my name (I think it wanted me to ditch the tour and hang out for an hour... or five!!) The food looks tempting, their special event look great, and the sampling we tried was perfect!! Thanks for a great intro, DG-- We'll be back!!

Booked a party here for a Saturday afternoon. The location is perfect. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. The upper loft is great for having a get together but also allowing people the freedom to move around and have their own conversations. Our two bartenders were fantastic. And best of the all the booking fee didn't break the bank. Seems like a great place for a stop in to have a drink or do what I did and have a party.

I don't appreciate one of your employees literally searching for me to possible threaten and or scold me while on your clock about an argument me and his sister had. It's 8:50, May 31st 2023. The only reason why he didn't come into the establishment where i was because it was a different establishment next to yours. Very inappropriate for any establishment employing someone like this.

I love The Daily Growler. I don't think I am anymore, but I was at one point the Yelp check-in Duke at the Upper Arlington Daily Growler. So I was excited to come check out the newest location in German Village. Compared to the UA and Powell locations though, this location seems to have quite a different vibe that I personally was not a fan of.So first and foremost, it's super duper loud. Like college campus bar loud. Not due to music or anything-- just a lot of loud people chatting very loudly. I was there with my wife, and we could not hear each other talk. Second, they only have 40-ish beers on tap compared to 60 at the other 2 locations. And parking in German Village as we all know are pretty hit-or-miss.If you live in German Village, this is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. For those of us who are closer to either the UA or Powell Daily Growler though, I would recommend those as they're quieter, have more beers on tap, and offer much easier parking. Gosh, I feel like such a geezer complaining about the noise level, but seriously, it's too loud if I can't even talk to the person sitting next to me!

Stopped by here before the hockey game. Over 35 beers on tap. Mostly from Ohio breweries. Good variety of porters, stouts, ipa and sours. The flights are reasonable. Very relaxed setting. The downstairs is very small but they have a larger area upstairs. Good stopping point near the German village.

I assumed that I would not care too greatly for this place being as I am on a low fodmap diet and therefore have to limit my intake of gluten BUT, I ended up LOVING it. For my gluten-free pals out there, The Daily Growler has plenty of gluten-free options. They have a bottled cocktail from my dear friends at Watershed Distillery. It is a bottled Moscow Mule that they serve in a stemless glass and it is SO tasty! They also have a host of different wines and often some cider options. They even have an adult root beer. The space is so cool. They have a patio that is deceiving because it appears to be small but wraps around the building and offers plenty of options for those who wish to enjoy their beverages outside. The inside also looks small at first until you realize there is an upstairs, complete with pinball machines! If you like beer, you've definitely come to the right place because they had about 40 different options to choose from. You could also build your own flight which I thought was pretty cool. The staff was super friendly and they had small tasting cups to allow for folks to try things out before going all in. I might also add that they have Big Mamma's Burritos available so you can eat while you drink and you will want to read my review for Mamma's because I am OBSESSED. The Daily Growler is such an awesome addition to the area and I can't wait to return over and over again.**I am now editing this because I went to write about Big Mamma's Burritos only to see that they don't have a separate Yelp page so let me tell you: those are some DELICIOUS burritos. They come in several sizes and every option you can think of. For a low fodmapper like me, it is awesome because you can elect to get it in a bowl without the burrito shell and you can build your own so you control the ingredients. It is so awesome!! Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely wonderful. The young lady running the burrito area was super friendly and she worked so hard and our food came out in a timely manner. I was so impressed by her mad skills. My boyfriend tried the chips and guac and he said the guac was super tasty as well. There was so much to choose from that I already have about 6 more trips planned to try everything I couldn't decide on.
