Live Music, Food trucks galore, and various Art & Crafts, Vintage and other vendors everywhere! Got to love it.What an awesome time and recommend going if you can. Located downtown Columbus on The Scioto Mile or Scioto Peninsula or whatever we are calling it but it's downtown positioned around Cosi. We took a ride share in but there was plenty of garages around for parking. I found it easy in and out of the festival. We enjoyed a variety of delicious foods, including burritos, empanadas, crunch wraps, nachos, funnel cakes, popsicles, and ice cream. We visited:Big Pappy's BBQSpanglish Latin Street FoodEmpanadas and MoreRime Time PopsGlaze'em Gourmet Funnel CakesJohnson's Real Ice CreamMusic was great, the crowds were tolerable but very busy. Only complaint is that you could not just get a water or pop. You had to purchase tickets and it had to be purchased just like the beer and alcohol. All beverages required a ticket, individual trucks could not sell drinks, and the lines were long at the beverage tents. Not a fan of this design. My pro-tip is to bring cash. You can save money as the vendors we went to factored card charges and there were two sets of prices upon payment (cash vs card). Also, several beverage ticket areas - i recommend the one by Junto. It never seemed to have the crowd the others did.Check it out. The festival is here through Sunday. For more info, check out https://columbusfoodtruckfest.com/

This was my first time back to the Food Truck Fest since COVID. I love the new location! So much more room for lines, accommodating large crowds, and nice space to walk and enjoy the sunshine. I was also pleased with the large amounts of shaded seating that included tables and chairs so we didn't have to try to walk and eat. The food was delicious as always. I was slightly disappointed in the amount of vendors and food trucks. It seemed like so much less compared to other years.

So much fun! A little rain didn't keep us away! Sampled yummy food and met some super cool vendors. Parked at COSI and walked over. Enjoyed live music and not crazy crowds. Great time!

I went on a Friday afternoon, it was soooooo hot, with limited shaded seating area. The food trucks were great, wish I could have stayed longer or came at night when it was cooler but I didn't want to pay for the $5 entrance fee and because parking was $10. But I'm a broke college student. The food trucks that I tried there were the aloha truck which was awesome pork buns. I also had their hai poke which was very delicious, and lastly a fries that had amazing chorizo and cheese fries

Friday night success. Still wondering why the mediocre reviews from other yelpers. This event is great for all ages, shapes and sizes. Ha. Bring your extra stretchy pants and an extreme hunger pain. From BBQ, tacos, gyros, pizza, noodles, hot chicken, cupcakes, ice cream, BEER (yes, to wash all of it down!) and everything in between. The parking is bountiful around the out skirts of Columbus Commons. We paid in a self pay parking spot for $6 for 2 hours. There were so many food trucks I couldn't decide on one. Came with the family so we were able to share it all. They had live entertainment on the stage that was pretty decent. Beautiful view and great location for this event. Can't wait for next year!

I thought it was a lot of fun. Lots of food trucks but the lines were long. Most moved well. They had more of the festival across the street but you couldn't take you beer across. No easy way to just check out what was over there. Where was Yelp at??? Looked everywhere. Map had them up by the big stage center grassy area. Redemption for check in but redemption dates say 16th 17th. The festival was 14th, 15th, 16th. Not sure why happened with that.

This was the first year I've had the chance to go to the food truck festival at the Columbus Commons, since I always happen to schedule vacation mid-August. I was pretty excited seeing a lot of food trucks on the list that I hadn't seen before, so we went down right after work on Friday. You can pretty much expect long lines everywhere and limited parking. It really didn't seem worth trying to buy booze, since the lines were so long, so we just grabbed drinks in between at The Walrus. Little Palace and 16-Bit are right there too if you want to step away from the crowds for a bit.I love that there are food trucks from all over Ohio and not just Columbus. We had awesome jerk chicken sliders from Ena's Jerkmania from down in Cincinnati. I'd had most of the popular Columbus food trucks, so most of the lines I was in weren't very long, but if you're trying to stop in to the more well known ones, you'll probably have to wait. It's definitely worth going earlier rather than later at night.A fraction of the trucks are across the street in a parking lot making the sidewalks a little congested, and it's kind of dangerous since 3rd St. passes right through the middle of the festival. I saw someone almost hit by a car on Sunday. My biggest let down was going back around noon on Sunday and seeing that almost all of the trucks had left, and the only ones still there were the ones that had set up shop in the parking lot. I understand that three days might be a commitment for everyone to keep the trucks down at the Commons, but what's the point of even having a third day then? You might as well just make it two. Since nothing on Sunday looked appealing, we ended up leaving a bit disappointed.I'll probably give it another shot next year just to try some of the newer trucks, but you're better off following the more popular ones on Twitter or Facebook and finding where they are during the week.

I'm a foodie so, a bunch of food trucks for me to explore and eat from at my leisure is pretty much my ideal afternoon. I've only eaten a popsicle so far (Sweetpops from Cincy - go try them!) but I've passed by jerk chicken, lobster tacos, philly cheesesteak, the list goes on. There's also live music as I'm currently listening to the smooth sounds of the Liz Woolley Band and there's another stage with music as well. It's an annual festival here in CBus and if you're a foodie or like food trucks, get.here.now.

The Food Truck Fest was... aight. On Friday night, there was a concert going on at the stage, The Winnie Cooper Project. People seemed to be enjoying the show. It was loud for those of us trying to talk to people, but. There were a lot of food trucks, but looking at the map, I had no idea which ones might be vegetarian-friendly without looking them all up individually on my phone. I ended up going to Tatoheads. For the next fest, a small legend with icons for trucks that offer gluten free, vegetarian, etc, options might be cool. There was a row of craft and sponsor booths. The craft merchandise looked legit, a lot of stuff you'd see at Independents' Day or Moonlight Market. Parking tip: If you drive down Town St, there's usually tons of meter spots available around 4th and 3rd if you're going toward downtown (I usually head up to Grant and turn onto Town there when I want to park). Two-hour limit but they only run til 6, so if you're going in the evening, you can park awhile for free. (Of course, always check your individual meter for times, etc. DISCLAIMER.)If I didn't have anything else to do that night, I'd totally mosey over to the Food Truck Fest.

It was my first time at the festival. I do agree with other reviews that the new location seemed big enough to accommodate large crowds. I didn't have any problems finding parking as well. There were about 50 trucks this year and it seemed like the variety of food was good enough. The only thing I didn't like is the prices. At least, everything that I bought seemed a bit overpriced. I was expecting It would be vice versa for some reason. But no.
