The Burg Cafe

The best bakery café around. We go here as many times a week as possible. Great atmosphere for kids and a cozy place to get out of the weather, sip some coffee. Pistachio muffin is king.Breakfast mess is also a great choice. Always fast and friendly.

There was nothing wrong with the food or coffee. It was the rudeness of the older women. I clearly asked for coffee with my food. No coffee came to me. As soon as I walked up to the counter I was jumped. She said "you didn't order coffee". I explained that I DID order coffee. She got real rude about it so I said never mind and walked off. There is no reason for this kind of rudeness. I won't be going back.

Paper plates and plastic eating utensils with huge cost. If I want to serve myself I would eat at home. No thanks

You can't go wrong here! Personal favorites are scones, cold brew, chicken salad sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches! One of few places around that has both quality and great prices!

Love everything about this place. All their food is great. The breakfast sandwiches and lunch. They have daily specials so make sure you are on their Facebook page.

A delightful drive to Centerburg to try out this quaint coffee shop. We we were delighted by the hot chocolate. The biscuits and gravy were quite affordable. The chocolate muffin was clearly homemade and crisp. The ham on the Country Benedict was a tad salty, but it was still a very filling little plate. The star of the visit was the Cold Brew. I was able to add sweet cream and vanilla flavoring to make the iced coffee of dreams. The paper straw held up quite well.

This place is a hidden gem!! My husband and I live in Centerburg and we typically grab breakfast on a weekend a few times a month. When we didn't feel like driving to Sunbury we would go to the intown restaurant in Centerburg which was just ok. We wanted breakfast this morning so I searched for the restaurant number only to find that it permanently closed! I remembered seeing this little bakery pop up in town about a year ago, but I thought it was only baked goods. I looked up the website out of curiosity and turns out they serve breakfast and lunch too! My husband and I decided to give it a shot and I made the short drive over. When I first walked in, it's super welcoming and adorable. Definitely a bakery aesthetic and it is very clean and well kept (the intown restaurant was questionable, maybe this place put them out of business). The menus are adorable and the displays are really nice - from donuts to muffins to mini Buckeyes. The prices are extremely fair and they have good selections - both food and baked goods!My husband and I both opted for the breakfast scramble and added on a biscuit with sausage gravy. All I have to say is wow - it was all so delicious and we will definitely be back.The staff was super nice and the service was quick. I will be sure to remember this place when I want a quick bite to eat on my way into work or on a cozy weekend in! Highly recommend!

I love this place. The service is always great and there are loads of good options. The baked goods are of course the main thing. The muffins, doughnuts, scones, and especially cinnamon rolls are all delicious. The breakfast options are also excellent. Biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, breakfast scramble...all are delicious.

This bakery has not been around for very long, but it is a welcomed addition near my house within walking distance. It has a great variety on the menu, and try some of the muffins had a pistachio muffin two days ago and was impressed will be going back time and time again

The food was great gluten free bun/breakfast sandwich was amazing. Service was great and the people here are so nice. Place looked really cute and overall had a great vibe. 10/10 would recommend
