Walking down the aisle at Bendora.
This is a dress I almost bought - they had so many great dresses to choose from and what a treat it was to try them on in this cool room!
This was at our reception, not at the BWG facility, but I wanted to show a picture of the cute cake.

We can't think of anything that would have made our experience better. I either left a VM or there was number I texted and Patti called me 5 minutes later and we had a great chat. I felt like I was talking to my aunt or someone like that I haven't spoken to in awhile, and compared to the lady at another place that was obviously hated her job, Patti made us feel comfortable enough to want to book before even seeing the place. We ended up there a few days later and my wife was smiling and Patti was just a great in person and we loved her. We did the live streaming option which was better than we could have expected and worth every penny. When we went to look at the place, we had Lita our pooch in the car. I mentioned that to Patti and she told us yo bring her in and said we could bring her on our wedding day. As much as I truly wanted that, we knew Lita I'd a little to excited around people and very strong for someone yo hold and wouldn't work for going to dinner. I loved that was an option though. We had a small wedding and don't think we could have picked a better place. The photographers were great with us and we're excited to get our pics and video. My family all said how beautiful the place was and how great everyone was. Patti, Joy, and Ron. It felt like 3 other family members were there as well. Patti pinned a little flower on my jacket which was a nice touch. One minor thing is it would have been nice to have a little bottle of water.

Great little venue for an intimate wedding, and the prices were phenomenal! Nowadays with average weddings being thousands or tens of thousands of dollars, it's a relief that places like this exist that is very affordable and won't put you behind financially. The photographers were great and we loved how the pictures turned out! Our biggest issues and regret was with a lack of communication from Patti. We emailed and called out to her weeks before the wedding date to discuss and finalize everything, and she informed us she'd reach out instead. Well, weeks flew by and wedding day finally comes and Patti was unprepared how to pronounce my name and that I had to wear the wedding ring on my right hand due to an injury on my left ring finger. Made for a pretty awkward interaction on record in our wedding video, but definitely memorably hilarious and something we laugh about even now. We didn't mind the mess ups, but it was definitely unpleasant when an additional $90 or so payment was brought up right after we got married. This should've been squared away back when we attempted to discuss it, not during. I would highly recommend this wedding venue for budget-friendly couples, but definitely stay on top of communication and be persistent in making sure everything is taken care of, payment included.

After a pretty rough experience at David's Bridal, a friend recommended BWG to me. She told me that her sister-in-law bought a great dress from there for a great price and that they were having a pop-up sale so we decided to check it out.It is my understanding that BWG does these sales several times a month. You do not need an appointment but it was advised that I should wear a sports bra and spandex shorts as there are not a lot of fitting room areas so one might be expected to change in the actual store area. I came prepared but as it turned out, I had the best wedding dress experience ever! Here's my story:The pop-up sale was starting at noon but I ended up getting there about fifteen minutes early because that's just how I live my life. I was hanging around outside waiting on them to open when one of their employees walked up and let me in early! She was so pleasant and my dress shopping was off to a great start! I had two friends who met me there and the associate took me upstairs and showed me to a room and told me I could use it for fitting! It was a huge, gorgeous room in this beautiful building and I had a mirror and a box I could stand in as well as several chairs where my friends could sit. It was so perfect! Now, be warned that BWG is a consignment wedding shop. This means that, while some of the dresses are brand new and still had tags on them, a lot of them are once worn dresses. Some brides may take issue with that but I am all about a great deal and the thought of spending a lot of money on a dress I would only wear once didn't sit well with me so BWG was right up my alley! The dresses are hanging on the racks by size and my girlfriends and I found my section and just started grabbing stuff. I tried on several dresses and there were two that I really really liked but of the two, one of them was just THE ONE. It was such a unique dress with so many beautiful accents. When I put it on, some of the store employees came in with a tailor and she told me what alterations she could do. Everyone was so complimentary and kind and they really made me feel at home at BWG and even more at home in my dress. The dress is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to wear it when I marry my guy. And the best part? It was only $299! What a steal! I would post a photo but I don't want too many folks to see it before the wedding but take it from me, BWG is a GREAT place to find a wedding dress at a reasonable price. I had such a great time and it was definitely that memorable wedding dress shopping experience that I had hoped for. You rock, BWG!

I had my wedding at BWG on 9/26/15 and my husband and I had a very good experience. We initially had a very hard time finding a place to have an outdoor wedding that wasn't $5000+. We wanted to have a small wedding (about 50 people,) and wanted something simple, yet nice. Totally by chance we found out about Bendora through my sister's co-worker. As soon as I looked it up I was very impressed. The price, location, facility, and packages were perfect. We went and checked it out, fell in love, and booked it immediately. Our package included set up/tear down of the chairs, invitations, photography, and the cake which were all very nice. The invitations were simple yet pretty, the cake was delicious, and the photographer (Bryan Ghiloni) was fantastic to work with. Every step of the planning process was simple and quick. We got married outside in the rose garden which was beautiful. Our final cost was around $1700 for everything mentioned, which was an incredible price. We had a tragedy in my family the day before our wedding, and although we didn't make any changes, BWG was very kind and accommodating, offering to help us with whatever we needed. Patty was also always quick at answering any of my phone and email questions during the planning process. BWG really caters to a clientele that is often overlooked, those who want a simple, elegant, small, and affordable wedding. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.**The only negative I have to mention is that in the garden there is no path to walk down the aisle. I thought there would be stones or a runner or something, but there wasn't. As a result the heels of my satin shoes sunk into the ground and were instantly ruined by the mud. I couldn't even wear them to the reception, so that was really disappointing. I wish I had known because I would have definitely arranged something to not only save my shoes, but also so I wouldn't have been sinking into the grass during the ceremony. So for other brides- please keep this is mind and consider a runner or pick shoes accordingly. The other issue is that there is no microphone. Unfortunately many of my guests, particularly my older guests, could not hear anything.**Those two things aside, I would certainly recommend BWG, and would happily choose to get married here again!

i haven't even been able to plan my wedding because i can't get any information. the communication is seriously lacking. i've called twice with no answer. patti keeps texting me saying she'll email me the information and never does. i've emailed her to no avail. at this point i'm going somewhere else, it's ridiculous. it's not hard to send basic info about pricing. if they can't respond in a timely manner, they should put more info of their website.

The venue itself was very pretty and my guests loved it but the service was highly lacking! For being professional wedding planners, they never bothered to put signs up, even though there was a market day going on all around it. Some guests didn't find it as a result. The coordinator, Patti, couldn't ring me up for the correct total after three attempts. When extra guests came, they hounded me for payment on them right before I was to walk down the aisle. They didn't have a safety pin that I needed for my dress after mine broke. They did not provide us with a sheet cake they said they would. Lastly, they were rude to my photographer. The place is beautiful and with different people running it it could be a lot better. The business is up for sale so we will see.

We held our wedding here last month... the garden is beautiful and facilities are nice, however I would not recommend anyone book their wedding here. Communication was horrible throughout the planning, all calls go directly to voicemail and email response is 50/50. Though what really, really pissed me off and is the reason I am writing a bad review is this: when I began walking down the aisle, Patty (the planner and officiant) was arguing with my fiancé about someone taking pictures with a camera. Our wedding video was ruined because she was asking my soon-to-be husband to step away from his spot at the front to ask his uncle to put his camera away, while I was walking down the aisle!! I could not believe this moment was ruined for him because of her greed. I was wondering why he has such a pissed off look as I was approaching the front, I figured it was the sun in his eye but as soon as the video footage came out all you can hear is her yelling at the groom as I am approaching. Horrible.

Bendora Wedding Gallery is elegant but affordable and the perfect place for a quiet wedding. I contacted Bendora through their website and was quickly able to reserve the time and date we wanted via e-mail. The elopement package was exactly what we were looking for: a quick civil service, just for us. We added the one-hour of professional photography to our package. All well worth the price! Bendora was amazingly accommodating to our request to have our dog with us. However, after the reservation email (in August) there was no communication from Bendora which made me a little nervous. I ended up sending an e-mail a day or so before (in January) to confirm that everything was all set. When we arrived at Bendora on the wedding day there was a rather large group finishing up. Because it was cold out, we were escorted through the crowd to the upstairs dressing room. It was a little awkward, but we didn't have to wait long for the photographer Katie (Kathryn D Studios) to start with the photos. She was nice and easy to talk to. We took a few photos in the dressing room before heading downstairs to the ceremony. The gallery is nicely decorated with white linens, chandeliers, and a lot of natural light. Patti performed the ceremony. She was extremely sweet and kept it perfectly short to last about 5 minutes then left us alone for more pictures. Inside and out there were many nice backgrounds for photos! When asked, Katie said that the photos would take 4 or 5 weeks to get back. They took double that time, but they were beautiful!I am very happy that I went to Bendora. It was a wonderful experience!

I loved my dress shopping experience here! The staff at Bendora were so accommodating and made our wedding dress shopping experience so easy! They were helpful and attentive but not at all pushy and the seamstress Monica is amazing at figuring out how to make a dress even better. Even though we live near Cleveland, we chose to come back for our alterations since she had such good ideas and great reviews online. We spent a few hours trying on different options and never felt like we were being annoyingly slow (as other places made me feel) or like we should upgrade to something expensive. My fiancee and I both ended up getting our dresses here and could not be happier about what a good deal we got on high quality dresses.

Was suppose to get married at Bendora July 4th. I started calling and emailing Patti in April about trying to change the package from the Petite Wedding Package to the the Elopement Package. Because of COVID-19. As you know you can not have a group of 50 people in a area. Safety first. Patti, told me you can not reduce your package. SO I LOST MY $400.00. Bendora will not refund your money. I can see if it was my fault. But COVID-19 was at play.
