The Beeline

The worst first impression I have ever experienced and I will never bring my business here. You're better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere. My family and I visited on Monday night to celebrate a birthday. The bartender was unfriendly walking in and very much seemed like he did not want to be there. When my partner ordered, he mocked his order with a lisp and didn't apologize when was questioned. Incredibly rude and reflective of who he is as a person.

Stumbled into this cute little place in a refurbished train station. I had a juicy, tasteful smash burger for lunch with the best gin cocktail. The menu isn't huge but it's got some great small and simple choices for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Absolutely love this bar! I just go here and sit at the tables! I love the lighting and the staff are personable and easy going! It's a really relaxed atmosphere I love it! I don't drink but the chandeliers and the soft, playing music set the right mood for me EVERY-TIME! I will come back as usual just to relax love they have water at the bar so I don't have to fight through the crowd!!!

3 years ago I rated Beeline 5 stars. Came here last night and had an entirely different experience, hence the 1 star rating. Sat at the outside bar within 3 feet of the very annoyed bartender. We literally sat there 15 minutes. We new exactly what we wanted to order. There were no other customers sitting around us, it wasn't busy. She made a few drinks and walked away.So we made a BEELINE out of there! We walked across the street to PINS, lively atmosphere, friendly customer service, great drinks, great balcony view!BEELINE is not what it used to be!

The Beeline made one of my favorite cocktails at the Spring Cocktail Contest, so I was excited to visit the bar and redeem the card they were handing out. To be fair, I went for patio drinks on one of the first really beautiful evenings of the year, so I did expect it to be crowded, but the experience was a little off. They have an awesome patio, with high tops, tables, couches, and benches scattered around the bar. Service is walk up at the bar, and for being 84 degrees and sunny, there were two very aloof bartenders in the space. It was very hard to catch their attention, and they were kept moving (slowly) making the kind of complicated cocktails Beeline is known for. I had a glass of wine and enjoyed some people watching, but the bar was running so slowly at half capacity that I'm not sure what it would be like if it were full. The inside wasn't open the day we visited.

I had never heard of Beeline until the week before. My friends and I went to Forbidden Root for dinner and Beeline was next door.I came back into the area the following week to try it. Easy parking here too. There's a large parking lot that is free!When I walked in, it wasn't super packed, but they have a bar outside as well. I ordered one of their seasonal cocktails, Buzzed in Bordeau. It was pretty refreshing with a nice hint of lemon and lavender. My friend got Havana Great Time, which had strawberry and mint. We ended up sitting outside to listen to the live music. Lots of seating all around the building! You can easily find shaded parts too.Can't wait to return!

I heard this bar was lovely inside, and wanted to check it out. I came for happy hour on a Friday night, early enough that I was the first customer. The bartenders both greeted me and explained the specials. Rather than sitting at the bar, I chose a cushy seat against the wall, facing the bar. It is indeed prettily decorated, but I wasn't impressed with the drinks. The prices were good, but I was served water in a plastic cup.It did get busier within the hour, but it probably not somewhere I would return to. I don't believe they serve food.

I looooove Beeline! Came here before going to burlesque at forty deuce, their drinks are always amazing it's a very casual cute place. I think they are great for anything- drinks after work, meeting up with friends, a night out, etc. Just a note: bathrooms are upstairs, don't wander around aimlessly like me!

Cool spot, good drinks. I would return if in Columbus again. Seems to be 30 somethings for the most part.

Love the blood orange smokey marg. Had some other pleasant cocktails from here as well. They are almost always as tasty as they are aesthetically pleasing. Service is busy but nice. Cozy little spot. Wish they had a second location downtown Columbus.
