The Battlegrounds Paintball

This was my first time here and when I pulled up I was quizzed because it's in a church parking lot. So I went with a big group of friends for my friend 30th birthday!!! It was sooooooooo much fun. We got our tickets off Groupon. It's $3 extra for padding but it won't help if your plus size because it won't stay on because it's Velcro! But they have different prices for the paintballs! Now I've been paintballong before but at lvl up and the paintballs was half the size of the ones we used! Let me just say it definitely hurts getting hit with something the size of a quarter! They had 3 different fields to play on and they are currently building a field for the pros! They host different competitions all the time also. The staff was really nice. I didn't see a bathroom tho. If your on a budget and want something close to town this is the place to go!!! I will be back! Also the helmets were clean and didn't smell like someone had just taken them off! Big bonus for me! Lol

The manager/owner was great when we called to get info. He gave us a run down of what to wear and what to expect, where to park. We made a reservation and good to go! We showed up as newbies - a family of 4 and were like oh no!! These are all hard core players!! The staff was GREAT!! They showed us how to use the equipment and didn't make us feel out of place at all. It was such a fun day. We had a Groupon so it was a steal for 4 people - we will DEFINITELY be back and will buy more ammo next time!! Everyone had a great time! Thank you for being so welcoming!!

This place is awesome for a large group. I came with a group of 20 people for my friend's birthday.. honestly the battlegrounds is the best place I've ever played paintball at. The staff are top notch, they made sure we were safe but also that we were having a great time. We will def be back.

The Best Paint Ball Game field in Columbus, Ohio ever..not only the game, but the folks are just "Awesome too " :)Couple of colleagues just decided to go for "Paint-ball" on Sunday afternoon to have some fun and team building, We tried calling all the places, out of all this was the only place open and we felt very accommodating right from the time when we made call with our 100 questions :P..we were beginners so we had lot of question in terms of safety, pricing, gears etc...Glad we picked this place..they made us feel so comfortable...we had a lot of FUN the entire day !They have very friendly and good system here, in getting players playing in a timely manner. Much bigger and open place to play, good equipment's, to keep it more interesting, they have many type of battle games..Barrels..Castles etc. made it even more fun.We paid $35 for 500 paint balls which is a great price to play out-door in such a big area. The owners and staff was very nice, friendly , enthusiastic, and was nice to give us some game tips, home-made Hot dogs, drinks and snacks ( Just for $1 )... In addition to this, they made Pro video of our battles, which is def. fun to watch and show it to our friends, the safety regulations are help up with top priority, even getting hit didn't hurt too bad. Definitely gave me the itch to go again.I would def. suggest this place for corporate team building activities, Birthday celebration, or to have fun..this is def. best place to spend your time having fun with friends or colleagues rather than on couch on weekends :)

Took a small group to play Paintball at the Battlegrounds that included my son and one of his friends. Price was good, playing areas are excellent. Staff were pretty good. We played for almost three hours had a very good time. My only complaint is that the employees that were inserted into our group used their own Paintball guns. If these guys are used to even out groups who are clearly novices using only rental gear, they should be using the same rental paint ball guns. We had employees (maybe a few regulars) we thought were employees who used privately owned Paintball guns which shot paint balls at a much higher velocity than the rented guns we were using. One weapon left three inch welts on five of seven members of our party. I also want to add that the paint balls fired by this weapon did not explode on impact, they were solid. This made the game less fun and angered everyone in our group who had multiple red and purple welts on their body. Outside of the guys added to our group using high powered AR styled paint ball guns this place is great we will be returning but will request that employees use the same rental guns our group is using to keep things even and less painful.

Great paintball field. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely the place to play paintball in Central Ohio. They are adding a speedball field soon. And they also have leagues now. My group really enjoyed playing there.
