The Barrington School

I have worked at this Barrington location since July 2016 and it has been the most enjoyable experience of my life. The staff, directors and owners are some of the best, most caring, hardworking people I've ever worked with. The children and parents warm my heart and make every day worth it. I am proud to work for this company with our high standards and ethics. I feel very lucky to call this location my family.

Our two boys have had a fantastic experience over a two year period. Thank you so much to the entire staff!!

My and my sons' time here has been great. The meals that they eat here blows the school lunches I ate out of the water. The staff have always been very receptive to any concerns or ideas and how to implement them into his day. They will talk to me about any successes, or even road blocks he encountered throughout a day and describe how he succeeded in working through it, or how they worked with him to work around issues. Even just coming in to pick him up and them telling me how something he did made them laugh is really fun, and I get the sense that they care about each kid in this way and how they grow.When you come and pick you're child up at the end of the day, and they are bummed that they are getting picked up, I take that as a sign they were having fun and enjoying the environment. And I feel like the teachers do a great job and keeping the room fun, while still challenging and teaching them tools that they will need further down (in school or otherwise).

What they say is not how they do (student-teacher ratio, how kids get scratches and their organic meals). They had incidents like teachers left kids out in playground or kids got out of school walking in parking lots by themselves. Their organic meals are not as legit as they say on their website, foods are not from local organic farms, just defrost fruits and canned foods.
