We had a reservation for a Friday night for hubby's birthday at 8pm. They are packed and we waited still for about 10 mins. As we sat, menus were handed out. Server came and talked about the specials.. Since this is a steak place, gotta try them steaks. However 3 of my fam already opted for diff kinds of steak cuts. I went with the daily special of Chilean Sea Bass with lobster risotto. We first had a dozen oysters on the half shell and calamari. We also tried the lonster bisque and french onion soup. Everything was tasty so far. The steaks came:1. Allen Brothers Long Bone Ribeye 22 oz2. Bone in Filet 12 oz3. Prime Rib King Cut 16 oz served with au jus and horseradish cream4. Seared Chilean sea bassAll if these dishes came with a side. All the steaks were seasoned well and cooked to our liking. The server was a good talker. A bottle of red wine paired our meal and the boys had fresh strawberry lemonade. No free refills here. And every refill was $4.50.They brought out our cake last. Everything went as planned. Server was attentive. Happy tummy indeed! Damage is roughly $600+ not including tip.

The vibe and the ambiance are really great here. We visited this place for my sister's birthday, and we were all happy about our food choices. Our servers name was Noah, and I would literally tell everyone about him when they have plans on visiting this place. Noah was such a great server, he suggested great menu and wine items and was extremely personable and thoughtful to our table of four. I am not a pork eater so all of the things in the pictures with pork were not mine and I didn't taste them, but I was told that they were GREAT. The oysters bingo are a big hit, they have made a baked oyster fan out of me! Overall, the experience was great. If you're looking for more of an intimate setting though don't get sat in the bar area, it gets loud.

I planned a private party for 9 and, from the first email with their events planner Vance, I knew this was going to be the perfect spot! Our dinner was around the holidays and the decor and ambiance was so cozy and welcoming. The private room space is perfect for 9-10 and is well-appointed. There is a tv screen if you needed it also.Stephanie was outstanding primary server and she is outstanding. Friendly, on top of every detail, and had the best service. Food! Oh the food!! We had meatballs and calamari as appetizers for the table and they were both perfect choices. We had sparkling wine and cider for toasting (planned easily in advance). Everyone loved their dishes. The filets were especially good but my prime rib was divine. I also had asparagus and a house salad. The poppyseed dressing was delish on the salad. The asparagus was great but the mashed potatoes were crazy good so I will get those next time. I tried the peanut butter chocolate pie and it was huge!! I took more than half of it home but I'm not mad about it!I highly recommend The Barn for any special event, even if it isn't in the private dining room. It's perfect for a special event or even just a really delicious dinner. They have weekend brunch, too, and I definitely want to check that out too!

My sister picked this spot for to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary family dinner. Our group of seven had reservations for 6 pm on a Saturday evening, so there were still some open tables scattered throughout, but filled up within the hour. This is fine-dining, so their menu is accordingly very succinct; they do everything on their menu to perfection, no need to attract with variety like middle-tier restaurants. Our waiter started out okay, but few check ins throughout the evening; which was somewhat concerning: I had to take waters from two other people because mine had yet to be refilled. Mind you, there was seven of us so a lot of chatting going on, but we waited just over 45 minutes between ordering/receiving our main meals (our waiter took our main dish orders after eating our apps), so definitely put a dent in the general dinner flow. Their onion rings appetizer was good. Crispy and hot, I liked them plain without any of the dipping sauces. Our waiter did finally tell us there was a backup in the kitchen, chefs got behind, our mains would be out shortly. Dinner was very so-so; a few us our dishes were under par. Bacon Wrapped Twin Filets, side of (sautéed) mushrooms and onions and sweet potato fries. Nothing was warmer than Luke warm at the absolute most. I requested my Bacon Wrapped Twin Filets medium-rare, they were a bit overdone and not very juicy. I was already full, so I took a bit and boxed the rest to go. My BIL's filet, requested rare, was medium-well according to this restaurant's doneness scale (as voiced to us by the waiter gentleman); he didn't even eat it, just requested it be taken off his bill and only charged for the side of sprouts. My father's filet was also well past medium-rare, and he was disappointed based on price points. My sister's scallops were quite salty. Our waiter should have been visually watching cues. Knowing the kitchen was behind schedule, he should have asked if we still wanted plates served as one, or bring them out as soon as they're plated. This is obviously an off night, but I usually don't give fine-dinning establishments a second chance. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend - at least not for parties over 2-4 people.

If you have ever had buffet in Las Vegas, you will know I mean it as a compliment when I say this was a true Vegas style brunch buffet. Brunch really seems to be where they shine. It is 42.99 per person for adults (before tax, tips and alcoholic beverages). They do a great job of keeping all of the stations filled and the food is kept nice and hot. There are several different areas/stations - carving for meat, chicken and waffles, salad bar, hot brunch items, and desserts. They offer a mimosa bar, a bloody mary bar and full bar for cocktails. Service was perfect. Attentive but not rushed. They were gracious about letting us take our time and bringing drink refills as needed. I recommend a reservation - it was packed. Tip: if it is nice weather, they have a beautiful patio in the back.

The Barn doesn't disappoint. My partner's prime rib was perfection, as expected. I was really in a mood for fish and the walleye called to me. I was assured the fish was very fresh, so I went for it and it was great -- not greasy and perfectly seasoned. Yum! Our server was very personable and helpful. We had a lovely meal!

Too bad this place is on the other side of town or I would have been here sooner! This was my first visit and hubby and I really enjoyed it. Hubby had the 10 oz filet and Mac and cheese. Both were yummy and had a little extra for lunch. I liked the ritz cracker walleye. It comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus in a light sauce. Loved it. We also shared a manhattan flight. Loved the idea of a flight. The mud pie dessert was huuuge! Definitely share dessert with two or three people. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed the fancy barn decor. The restaurant also has a very thorough bourbon menu. We couldn't decide do we just did the flight.

We came here for a family birthday. I really liked the ambiance, which was decorated well and upscale. At the same time, we saw a variety of people dressed well and others in T-shirts and shorts. Service was very nice and friendly. I'm vegetarian, and apparently there used to be vegetarian dishes on the menu, but now the options are really just a salad or sides. They did say they could make a veggie pasta or skewers, but I opted for one of the salads, which was phenomenal. I shared it with my husband, and we split 3 sides, which was a good amount of food. The mashed potatoes was probably my favorite side - so so good - but the corn was also up there. The brussels sprouts were not my favorite, but that's okay because I really liked the other 3 dishes. I will say that the mashed potatoes and corn did have a fair amount of butter (probably part of what made them so good), but I didn't regret it! I'm glad I got a salad to balance it out. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because it would be nice to include a vegetarian dish on the menu just to make us feel more included. I did appreciate there were some go-to options off menu, though.
