The Avalon

Amazing drinks and location, it's one of my fiancé's favorite places, and became my fav too!Can't wait to be there again.Service is always amazing!

Visited Avalon based on Yelp reviews, but was disappointed :( I was visiting Columbus for the night and I'm from the Tri-state area so Philadelphia/NYC clubs are very different, which may be why Avalon did not compare in my eyes. It may have been an off night, but the music wasn't good and neither were the drinks. DJ wasn't behind the table for a good portion of the night and just left a mix on! One thing I'd have to commend them on is their staff. From the bouncers outside to the bartenders, everyone was very kind and attentive. It was easy to get the bartenders attention and they did not rush you through your order. Asked us how our drinks were too!

This is my second visit to Avalon and I always have a good time. I saw that most of the complaints were about the dress code and customer service. Well, my experience was quite the opposite. The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly. Didn't order any food but the drinks were concocted perfectly.

This is right across the street from work. Sometimes my coworkers and I will go here for a few drinks. My drinks were done very nicely and I will certainly be back for more!No one ordered food but said they have decent food there for lunch.The crowd at night on the other hand gets a little crazy. Avalon is half night club ish as they have a dance floor and sometimes the clientele can get out of hand. Fortunately I never stick around that long. Anyway I'll be back for a drink nonetheless.

Their policies don't make sense at all! They did this big "remodel" to change the atmosphere of the club and create this dress code that is clearly intended to steer urbans away. They let a man in with ripped shorts and a tank top but wouldn't let someone in due to them wearing Jordan's. In addition, the bar is infested with fruit flies so if you have a drink, you have to swat them away constantly or risk them getting into your drink (which I failed several times).

I enjoyed the event thrown there (Prime) however I had a bartender that decided to write her own tip on the line. Management does NOT seem to care as I have not been contacted by anyone after sending an email. Think about it from this perspective: If a bartender takes a dollar or two from every person served in a given night they will do well. I don't like thieves and I don't like it when their employers do not acknowledge that something has occurred. I would fire someone immediately for doing something like this at my establishment!If you go there use CASH only

Stopped in for a drink and to her credit, the bartender did quickly ask me what i wanted. I directed her to a patron who had come in before me. She dipped off, left the dirty glasses and never came back.......after 15 minutes, and only 6 people at the bar. And there were 3 bartenders

Not a fan of Avalon at all. The service is terrible. I don't know who's worse the bartenders who barely gives service or the security who's disrespectful.

Terrible service! We were there approximately 20 minutes without getting a drink. Went to the bar several times, were told someone would to get our order. Nope, didn't happen. I'll never go back there and will tell all my friends the same!!!

It was taco Tuesday of course it was a blast! Gorgeous women! Cool place to mingle and meet dope people. I'll be back here pretty soon.
