Taquitos Truck

Awesome! Every single time we've got their food we absolutely loved it! We actually started chasing them so we can have their delicious "el famoso burrito" often.

Emailed back and forth 9 times about having the truck at our event, date and time discussed. 2 days before the event I sent an email to check when they would arrive and got no reply, day before event, same thing. I would love to send a review on the quality of food but our event, sadly had no food truck

This food truck happened to be stationed a stone's throw from where I live for an evening so I had no excuse not to give it a try. I went with the street tacos (comes with 3), partly because it felt appropriate as I was actually ordering on the street. For protein choices they offer chicken, steak, barbacoa, choriza, al pastor and carnitas. I opted to try chicken, barbacoa and carnitas. For those wondering (like myself) barbacoa is shredded beef while carnitas is shredded pork, and luckily the menu mentions this. In addition to the protein choice, the tacos come with onions and cilantro. The food was ready rather quickly, even with a couple of people that had ordered ahead of me. I was a little disappointed with the amount of food for the price, but I was excited to try it nonetheless. Worth mentioning, to add cheese and/or lettuce adds an extra $1 which isn't a huge deal but I had both at my place so didn't think it was worth it. I did have to request a side of hot salsa for dipping.Onto the food -- out of the three tacos I tried, my preference was 1) barbacoa 2) carnitas 3) chicken. The barbacoa was tasty but it was a stark contrast from the chicken which was quite disappointing as it was dry and bland. The hot salsa was not particularly spicy by any means, so I added a heaping of Cholula to each bite. Overall, I'm glad I tried it but my experience was nothing special.

We were at Edison last night and my son wanted a snack. The guys at the truck were super nice! They were out of churros so we were going to get chips and queso. They informed me that the queso is spicy so my son might not eat it, to which I thanked them. So we order some chips and they didn't charge me at all! That was so kind of them and my son was thrilled. Definitely check them out!

Quick service even at a busy festival, really good food, and some very nice lemonade. I'm usually not a huge fan of Mexican food, but this was really well done, with fresh ingredients and good (mild) flavors. The regular burrito was plenty of food, and the quesadilla my friend got looked excellent.

Pleasantly Surprised!Very good tacos! I had them while they were marked at Pins mechanical, it was a cold night so I was especially happy that my order was ready in a flash. Tacos were much better than I was expecting, my only complaint would be the price for the amount of food, $8 for 3 smallish tacos is pretty steep.

Another solid taco food truck! I never know if the protein serving will be small or not, so I ordered extra chicken. They did not disappoint! I had to save half for later! I was very happy with the food and the leftovers were just as tasty. My boyfriend ordered the barbacoa burrito and was pleased with it as well. We also got a side of chips and guac. I really liked the chips. Very crunchy and not very salty. The guac was good, but seemed to be lacking a bit in flavor. I was surprised when digging in the guac with my chip because I found a huge piece of avocado skin! Not a huge deal though. Overall, this truck is good and the service was very fast.

I recently got the burrito bowl with barbacoa and hot salsa from this truck. The truck looks clean, and the service was fast and friendly. The food was ready on time and was well prepared. The taste was on point and I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion size. It's definitely worth the money.

went out in the cold to get some food and no one answered was supposed to be at our apartment until 8pm got there at 7:30.

The burrito was ok. It is very big and filling but lacking in flavor. There is so much unseasoned plain white rice that kind of throws the whole burrito off. The pico is also strange tasting. The chunks of tomato and onions are so big I ended up picking most of them out. I've tried the barbacoa in a burrito as well and it was also lacking in flavor. I would not say this tastes authentic just because it's so plain tasting. I've had this food truck twice and I probably wouldn't order from here again.
