TAQUERiA La Chaparrita

I was finally able to order birria tacos as they were out my last visit.Service was fast.Option to dine in but it's extremely cold so I got my food to go. I ordered 3 birria tacos @ $3.50 and two chicken tacosThe birria lacked flavor, really. Not sure what is needed but Iused a extra lime to give it some some flavor. Even with the consume. I'd stick to the torta or tacos next time. I've had more flavorful birria.

Amazing tacos , the steak was a little overcooked but overall the chorizo was great !

Literally BEST TACOS in Columbus, hands down. Moved back from Chicago recently (where the taco scene is superb) and was on the hunt for the best tacos Columbus had to offer because I am kind of obsessed with tacos and am a little bit of a taco snob now ‍Anyway tried a few places moving back that were okay but nothing hit the spot or wowed me. Driving on Main Street leaving Bexley you hit Whitehall and you'll see a thrift store on the right and next to it is a cute little taco truck La Chaparrita (which ironically is the same name of my fav taco spot in Chicago) Every single time I've gone here the quality and flavor or the tacos is consistent and amazing! Anyway do yourself a favor, even if it's out of your way, make the drive! You will not be disappointed, in fact you'll probably be hooked like me.

Ok FIRST OF ALL these were the BEST tacos I have had in years and that is saying a LOT! Second of all the SAUCE!!! Y'all when I say these tacos was so good they make me wanna slap somebody! The meat was seasoned, fresh tasting and not hard or overcooked. The tortillas were perfectly crisped just enough and the SAUCE!!!! If you don't like spicy, it may be hard to appreciate the salsa roja but this is unbelievable. I don't even like tomatillos and the green salsa was... out of this world. I saw the review below and decided to try them out after leaving Michoacana paleteria (another 10 star restaurant) and I passed another food truck on the way. I am SO glad I did!!! Thank you to the reviewer below me, you were spot on! 10/10 stars

Super good tacos friendly service and a good price. Only wish I could order online as they're so busy it takes forever waiting on your food

This is a new food truck on Main in the Family Dollar lot right by Mi Mexico. There was another food truck at this location not too long ago that had a really fantastic torta, however the name escapes me. I stopped there thinking it was the same truck but it was not, and decided to give it a try. Their torta is very good, they had tacos and burritos besides that, torta pricing being higher than the prior operation at $7. I would stop here again and try the tacos but as far as the torta goes I will have to dig up the menu for the prior and figure out where they went because it was to die for and probably set the expectation a little high.

My absolute favorite taco place EVER. Everything is top notch from flavor to friendly fast service & reasonable prices. The cleanest taco truck I've ever seen with friendly owners and crew. The grilled onions are mouthwatering and my personal favorite they are undefeated in my book

excellent food at a good price, fall ahead because they aren't always open the advertised hours

I get the El Pastor every time and they are great. Made fresh to order and never had any issues. I will continue going here until I have a reason not to.
