Taqueria El Girasol

Wow. Handy today, small but bright and welcoming inside, great service, and a fairly basic menu but excellent food.I went with a special, carne asada. Tender, flavorful steak, with sauteed onions. Sides of pretty standard rice and beans. Perfectly fresh avocado, freshly made corn tortillas, and several salsas included, to eat together or separately. So, so good! Chips and salsa beforehand, good but not amazing- still, hot chips, chunky salsa with a bit of heat, a good warmup for the big show. Horchata, which I always like.Out of my way most of the time, but I'd come back in a heartbeat.

This place was amazing. The woman behind the counter was incredible and so welcoming. With $1.99 per street style tacos on Tuesdays, I am definitely leaving full. Will be coming back soon!

Fresh and tasty food. Friendly family-owned restaurant. Would definitely come back for some more gorditas!

Absolutely amazing food and is very authentic. We moved from California 15 years ago and really missed good Mexican food.

TRY THIS PLACE!! Please try the street corn. You will not be disappointed. The food is so well made and flavorful. Just the right amount of options on the menu and service is great!!

Popped in for a quick takeout lunch and was very pleased I did. Had an excellent chicken enchiladas verde -flavorful and an ample meal at that. Will definitely be back

Taqueria El Girasol is a little hidden from the road, but if you know about it, you know about it. Can't speak to everything on the menu, mainly because I'm currently addicted to the Birria taco meal and streat tacos. Guac is awesome. You can get coke in a bottle and horchata. They're fast. We have tons of trucks and other Mex. restaurants in our area, but I don't even bother with them anymore.

We have been coming to this restaurant for months now. The food is great and the service is remarkable. Has a perfect size menu with a good verity of unique choices. Clean comfortable.
