TailGators Sports Pub & Grille

Popped in here to meet up with an old friend for a late lunch. I'm in Akron for work and he was driving to Columbus for the night so this was in the middle area for both of us, We pulled up around 2, caught it at a slow time but the food and service here are excellent. I am trying to behave so I had the Wisconsin cheddar soup as an app, and the Buffalo tender Mac n cheese as an entree. Great flavor on both, the tenders were crispy and sauced perfectly. I had so much leftover I don't know if I'll get to eat anything else for another two days. Giant portion! It's a friendly spot, one of the regulars was nice and kept us laughing. Enjoyed the afternoon a lot. Support small businesses!

Great family restaurant and sports bar. This is one of our go to spots when we just don't feel like cooking. Their lobster bisque is really good and we love their wings and burgers. They have a bourbon sticky wing sauce that is our favorite, it has a little kick to it. Service can sometimes be a little spotty.The inside is way bigger than it appears.

An awful experience for many reasons. First, we arrived at 4:35p to have an early dinner before going to the Akron Zoo lights. Food was brought to the table at 6:08pm and was luke warm at best and just wasn't very good. With another 25 minutes to drive to the zoo we now have only a few hours at the zoo and still hungry. Absolutely do not recommend this place and will never return.

With so many places being short staffed and struggling, I want to give a shout out to TailGators tonight. My husbands salad was fresh, and my Rueben was enough to feed 2! Half of my sandwich was the size of a whole sandwich other places. Everything was as we ordered , ready on time, and good !

Food was poor/average before the rebranding. Sadly it hasn't changed much over the years.

Are you guys mad at door dash or something? How do you give us Buffalo dip without the dip?! And nachos without any toppings?!? We spent $50 and all was right was my my daughter's plain noodles. My husband is on his way to McDonald's. Can't believe this.

Great food and best wings around! Service is always great! This is our go to spot! Great homemade desserts too!

Good specials, good food, basic selection of beer on tap. Great fast & friendly service. Readily handles a larger group...give it a try!

I usually doordash wings and fries from here. Today I decided to switch it up and get a Philly Cheesesteak doordashed as this is one of my favorite meals so why not give it a try here. Wasn't to impressed and unfortunately not able to eat it. If you're like me and love pictures to help decide what to eat I'll attach one for you. If you go here, I recommend the wings.

Great food prices service. Really was nice place for our family to have dinner.We think the corn beef sandwich here is the best anywhere. Please try it you will not be disappointed.
