Tailgater's Sports Bar and Grill

No idea how this place has all 5 star reviews (even if it's only 3)... strip mall dive bar, cash only, crappy lite beers on tap. Headed elsewhere to watch basketball game!

I've been to this bar several times over the past few years. The burgers were actually so tasty that I've brought all my friends here to try. Now that my daughter is 19 I even thought to bring her so she could try. We went last night around 7pm; as soon as we sat down we were carded, I told the bartender we were only ordering food, not drinking. She acted confused but moved on. Then, I asked my daughter (who is 19) to go see if the KENO machine took credit cards; the bartender and a nosy lady proceed to tell me you have to be 21 to play Ohio Lottery, I said no, it's 18. They went so far as to Google it to try to prove a point, it was clearly posted on the lottery machine mind you. I'm not dumb. But they assumed I was because I'm black. We were clearly being harassed and made to feel unwelcome. I will never go here again and I don't recommend any minorities to go either.

What a great place!! A modern day Cheers. Friendly staff and guests. Beer was super cold. Great crowd for OSU basketball. Highly recommend the Weber Burger, it was outstanding. Met the owner. Very nice guy. He bought me a couple of beers and introduced me to many of the regulars at the bar. Overall, a wonderful night.

Tried putting in effort to this place for a few months...Staff are great but the food is sub par for the price...Don't complain about your order being wrong, "that's why the beer is cheap"...Save time and sanity...Drive past Buckeye and eat at a decent restaurant closer to Phoenix...

Too small, they don't have waiters. You have to order at the bar. The place was crowded because of the football game and the bartender appeared to be overwhelmed. We walked out. Didn't feel like they cared for my business. I was visiting from Florida.

I've lived nearby for ten years or so and have never stopped in this place. Wow, so much better and laid back compared to the larger BW3 or Roosters type places!This is a quintessential neighborhood sports bar that reminds me a lot of my hometown bars (Lakewood Ohio, those of you that know that town know what I mean!). I stopped in to watch an OSU game that was blacked out on cable for BTN. They had big screens and a party buffet laid out. Friendly bartenders. Cheap beer. Fun regulars (even the one steelers fan). I'll be back!

I love this neighborhood bar the people were nice locals. The beer was cold reception was warm. Kind of place where everyone knows your name.
