Tacos El Campesino

Kept seeing this when driving across 17th, never had a chance to stop. Made a chance today. 17th is closed for the Quarterhorse Congress, so plan a route using 4th and Summit. Easy access, though, right on the road at the carryout.Friendly owners. A menu with all the usual suspects plus a few. It all looked good; I just went with 2 asada tacos, 2 pastor, and some tostones. Oh, and some horchata when I noticed that (they also have Jarritos I think.)The tacos were very good. Diced, tender, flavorful meat. Fresh veggies. Sauce on the side, plus limes, etc. 4 was plenty. The tostones were perfect. Huge, crispy outside, a little soft inside. Come with a thick, slightly tangy sauce. Yum.The horchata was pretty standard. Rare enough that I get it when I see it.Nice little parking lot. A couple of big tables with umbrellas. Everything you could want for a quick lunch. Tasty. reasonably priced, fast.

Very delicious and reasonably priced traditional Mexican street tacos. I got three lengua and two asada and they were absolutely wonderful. Make sure you try them whenever you go to the fairgrounds or are nearby.

I went here with my girl, we are both Mexicans, and we really loved it. We both ordered some tacos and they are so good! Also, the people in there were super nice. I will 100% go again soon!

Amazing quick service, great food, and my Mexican boyfriend says this is the best in Columbus! We loved everything we got and will come back again and again!
