Taco Time with Don Carlos

Order some tacos from Taco time for a late lunch on Taco Tuesday. Best taco I had in a while out here, left me wanting more already planning on order more Friday.Will add pictures with Fridays tacos!!!

Out where I live, food trucks aren't the norm in the burbs, so I was curious to try Taco Time when I pulled into the parking lot of O'Reilly Auto Parts to get a wire for a car stereo. The young gal manning the window was polite and friendly. I went with a Chicken Torta, and took it back home to eat, because there are no tables to eat in this parking lot; it's basically a to-go operation. The Mexican sandwich was made fresh to order. Like how they chop the chicken up into smaller pieces. Could have used a tiny bit more filling, but not gonna complain. I liked the sandwich, and double-points for the foil wrapping inside the styrofoam container - held nicely for the ride home and was easy to eat.

Fast service and acceptable pricing for tacos! I recommend the steak tacos as well as the Mexican hot dog yumyyy!

Finally got around to trying this place and it did not disappoint! Tacos are $2 each and I had chicken and al pastor and both I would have again. The chips and guac I think I would pass on because I don't like really chunky guacamole. Also note it can take up to 10 mins for then to make your food.

So I kept driving by the Taco Time truck. And I finally broke down to stop and eat. Best decision I made that day, the Taco's was fresh&hot worth the wait, (like only 4 min) so got home and gobbled them down. Glad they are close to me, and $1.50 a Taco. Planning on bring my hubby back !!!!

Got there at 7:55pm tonight. They had already were cleaned and preparing to close down. But they still took our order with smiles on their faces! So kind! We got asada quesadillas, and they were literally the BEST quesadillas we've EVER had! We also tried two tacos, chicken and chorizo. I had NEVER liked chorizo... But now my eyes have been open! It's DELICIOUS! My new favorite taco truck FOR SURE!Give them a try, you WON'T be disappointed!

Authentic tacos in the suburbs!! I don't know why I waited so long but this taco truck is amazing....and they cater too! I got the steak and the marinated pork and I'm going back tomorrow for more!

The food is fantastic and the service is even better. My wife ordered the authentic tacos and was blown away by the quality and fresh ingredients! I ordered the torta and could not of been happier with my choice. The staff are so friendly and everything was made to order! We will definitely be back frequently!

Great street tacos! Tacos are $2 a piece. The proteins are: pollo, asada, Lengua, chorizo, Al pastor, and carnitas. I loved the chorizo and carnitas. Al pastor wasn't the best I've had but it certainly wasn't the worst. Sorry, I ate them too fast to take a picture. The red salsa was very good. If you're in the area, stop by and have a quick lunch or dinner. I'll be heading back when I have my taco cravings.

One of the best trucks in the state. Very consistent quality and always a great experience.
