I'm not really sure about the scathing reviews below other than a bunch of 'Southern' people trying to flex, but I had no qualms at all with this food truck. The guys running it were super friendly and chatty and were super proud of the food they're producing. Unfortunately, it's reviews on here that make people hate Yelps, so unless they were terrible a year ago, then I'm not sure what's going on here. The Nashville Hot chicken we ordered was massive, and it was some of the best I've tried in a long time, especially in Columbus. The chicken was super juicy while the breading retained a ridiculously delicious and spicy crunch. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for. The heat level was great, since I love it spicy, and it was absolutely caked in cayenne paste.I also ordered the Jambayala, which was solid as well. It definitely could use some more heat, and I don't think anyone else would mind if the spices in it were kicked up a notch. The chicken and sausage was tasty, and cooked just right, so I can't complain.Like I said, I'm not sure what the deal is here unless the bourbon chicken was just that bad, but I find it hard to believe. I'll check back though and try it. I really don't understand why people are basing southern cooking off a 4 ingredient dish that you can get at any fair or festival like its the epitome of Cajun cooking but whatever. You do you. I know I'll be back.

I'm writing this review with one hand because I refuse to put my sweet tea down. As you can tell from the picture, I got a little of everything. So let's dive in...The crispy bourbon chicken over Carolina gold rice is honestly the southern/Asian fusion fried rice I didn't know I needed. I know it's not typically made with crispy chicken but it should be. It just should. There were bits of traditional bourbon chicken I think he rice along with scallions, and so different textures in every bite. And if you're not familiar with Carolina Gold rice, do your googles and learn. It's an heirloom grain that's making a comeback and for good reason. It's so much more flavorful than regular rice. The brisket Mac and cheese belongs together, I could have done without the cornflakes, but they do bring a nice crunch to the dish, and however the brisket mac is sauced...sheesh!!!! Like I said this brisket and this mac belong together. And then there's the fried green tomatoes. The tomato was tangy and fresh, the breading not too heavy to overpower and nicely seasoned. A well balanced profile. The aioli was dressed a little heavy on mine, but it definitely gives you that southern flavor, tangy, smooth, and little sweet. I'd follow them just for the tea and lemonade, so the great food was a bonus. When you remember this is coming out of a food truck, you'll appreciate just how good this is. I'm gonna take a few more bites and then hit my blog and show Sweet's more love.

Wish I could give another .5 of a star to them. Great stuff. As I look at the other reviews that are low, I strongly disagree with those folks. I was very impressed with what I ordered from Sweet T's and they should be proud of the food they serve. The price point is SUPER affordable for the portions. So stop the complaining about that. I've posted a pic of that night's menu. Owner was super kind and friendly; took time to explain everything I asked about with kindness and proud of his food! With good reason, it was awesome. Most impressed with the PORK RINDS. I do NOT like pork rinds. But Sweet T's is the ONLY ones I'm eating from now on. For $2, you get a good sized wax bag filled with warm rinds dusted in Cajun seasoning. No one in CBUS is doing that like them. Bourbon chicken was sold out. But he told me he'd make a special one with breaded chicken instead. Yeah sweet tangy crunchy flavorful. They should serve it like that every time. And to the reviewers complaining about it, $10 says the only Bourbon chicken you've had was in a food court - clean out of here. Sweet T's is good, dare you to @ me! Fried green tomatoes are stellar. I didn't need the aoli. Brisket Mac and cheese is a must try. It's food truck heaven! Spend your $ on the sweet tea and tip these guys. They earned it. I'll be back if I find you in the city and can't wait to see what y'all will be serving next!

I have to agree with Nic in that the Bourbon Chicken was not good. Salty, and overcooked. Sorry, guys. The rice was okay, and the sweet tea (free refills) was good.

I have food trucks for lunch fairly regularly and the meal I had here was one of the best I have ever had! The Mac n cheese with pulled pork and crispies was AMAZING!! It was such a good mix and I really enjoyed the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce on it. I HIGHLY recommend trying it. I will definitely be back!!

I see this food truck around often and finally decided to try it! The portions are HUGE! WOW! I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the JoJo potatoes. The sandwich is very big with generous amount of chicken (it's seriously like 2 sandwiches in one) and it comes with sweet pickle chips and lettuce (and ranch but I got mine without). It was pretty spicy. Not as hot as Hot Chicken Takeover but definitely still enjoyable. The JoJo potato wedges were very crispy and seasoned, though I really didn't taste the flavors of the seasonings even though I could see they were obviously seasoned. But the aioli that comes with it was delicious and definitely helped the potato wedges taste their best. I'd put that aioli on everything. This truck is decent but didn't leave me pining for more.

After living in Ohio for several years sometimes I crave a good southern food. I was overly pleased with the quality of this food, especially the fried green tomatoes! They were absolutely Delicious! And the sauce that they had for the side was wonderful as well. I went with the grits, the cheese grits and was a little disappointed in that as my other side. They were crumbly and not creamy like we made him down home. I tasted the whiskey chicken I thought it was delicious and the Sweet tea was perfect!I'm sure I'll find myself waking up one night craving fried green tomato's from this place! Thanks for doing a good job on those!

Best Nashville hot chicken I've had outside of Nashville. This is a real gem. Exceeded my expectations and the coleslaw was tasty. Hope to see you around again.

9 good old American dollars for 3 pieces of chicken tenderloins, cole slaw and sauce? Damn! It's true a fool is born every minute. Live and learn! Oh the chicken was very underwhelming and definitely not southern. Well, I'm not sure how southern the food is but it's not RAY's BBQ! Or Hot Chicken Take-over. If I wasn't so Lazy I could had a great lunch but instead I had three pieces of dried chicken. Live and Learn! Folks.

I've had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich 5 times and it is consistently excellent. I always get a side of slaw which is good - not overly mayo'd. The jojo potatoes (wedges) are not my style. I'd rather have some crunch to my spuds. My wife gets the chicken poboy and said it's very good.
