Super Wok

First time at Super Wok tonight. Last time as well. The floor was sticky and dirty. The windows were filthy and fogged up. It looks like a family owned place with several people working . I was concerned about the older woman in the back, as she looked confused and dirty herself . The woman at the counter was very nice and the food came quickly out . I ordered cashew chicken with white rice. My husband got the pork lo mein. He said it was tasty and had a good sauce with it. Mine however was awful. The chicken was stringy and slimy. The mushrooms were also slimy and the veggies were HUGE. Not cut and the carrots had a dirty taste . There were about 3 cashews in the whole dish. I'm hoping someone calls the health department on this place .

Below average but will get by in a town were there is no competition. Two stars for location (next to Kroger). Food lacks in flavor. Beef & Broccoli is 2/3 broccoli. Lo Mein is average at best. General Tso's is bland and not crisp. Sit down buffet is now closed. Interior is uninviting with a cellophane and tape barrier between you and the counter. Chinese cuisine is a treat for most in Central Ohio. I've ordered twice in the last few months and it's been a disappointment both times. I hope they can turn things around.

Best place, best food, I make the trip to Pataskala just to get this Chinese food . Once you try it you'll never go anywhere else for Chinese Fast service , call ahead and it's quick and easy.No done in but lobby is always clean and tidy Love love love it

Good basic American/Chinese fare. Only have carry out now since the pandemicAnd have not reopened the dining roomThere are others better, but they are close by.

It's been over a decade since I was in Pataskala looking for Chinese and I wondered if my memories of Super Wok would hold up to reality. They did!While things are different now, the dining room is closed and the counter is hidden by a wall of plastic for Covid, the food remains really good Americanized Chinese takeout.The steamed dumplings are flavorful, the egg rolls deep fried goodness, but it's the General Tso's that I crave. A balance of sweet and hot in that bright orange color that isn't typically found in nature. Good stuff!

I've had Chinese food in Hong Kong, Japan's "Chinatown" (in Yokohama), San Francisco's Chinatown -- and various places in-between. A vast majority of them were disappointing. Much to my surprise, Super Wok was not -- I love this place!It doesn't look like much. You walk in and there is a counter -- and you can see the cooks of the family-owned business hard at work over the stoves beyond it. The menu is on the wall, with large photos of many dishes.There are also paper menus on the counter.I've never seen anyone eating inside the dining room -- but it is a large space. Not fancy. But clean. I understand they have buffets here at lunch but I've only visited evenings. There are always people seated in front waiting for their orders -- this place is busy.EVERYTHING is very good! All of the ingredients are fresh. And the portions are HUGE. This restaurant is much better than many Chinese restaurants I've been to in San Francisco. I am amazed (and lucky) to have it so close to home here in Ohio.

Worst food that we have had Hair, yes hair in our take out food The food is not all that tasty to start with, but when I found the hair in my container, I was very disgusted Our family will definitely not be returning to this restaurant Ick! Poor health and cleanliness

Horrible egg drop soup. It has semi decent crab Rangoons but was really in the mood for a hot bowl of soup. This was thrown away

really good general Tao's chicken cooked well not stringy or over done with just the right amount of broccoli. . fried rice perfect. will go back for sure!

Good food and quick service. Take out order was ready on time. I order extra vegetables to be added and they always are
