Sugar Rush Columbus

I've been to Sugar Rush twice now, and while the place is good overall, the cookies didn't win me over. I followed the directions to heat them up, but they were still dry and bland. The cowboy cookie? Let's just say, it should've stayed on the ranch--way too salty! But the pineapple upside-down cookie cake? Absolute heaven. Definitely recommend that one. As for the cupcakes and cakes, they were both delicious--those alone are worth the trip.The ambiance is really cool too. I love the colors, and they've got a pinball machine that adds a fun, modern vibe to the whole place. Definitely a spot with a unique, playful theme.Would I go back? Absolutely. I still need to try their drinks and those over-the-top shakes (though I might need to bring a small army to help me out). The staff? Great both times. If I had one suggestion, besides maybe working on those cookies, it'd be this: they should start offering insulin at the door--just kidding (but not really)!Thanks for the sugar rush, Sugar Rush!

Very spacious inside with wide selections of goodies. The blueberry lemon cake and the cupcakes are very good.

I visited the new location with my family on a Saturday afternoon. It's literally two doors down from the old one. I love, love, love the new look. The owner greeted us and was extremely patient and attentive to me and my kids. She gave details of whatever we asked about and made suggestions. SO much to choose from. They even have coffee and spirits infused cupcake options. The kids got a cake pop and freeze dried candy. I looked over the menu and IG page and wanted to try the Blackout! My fiance was given the suggestion to try the All Dolled Up. I also ordered a cookie dough donut. The donut was delicious, of course. I asked for a fork, and they gave us these pretty rainbow colored forks. Super cute!I didn't love how much lime the Blackout had, but it was so cute, lolMy fiance didn't mind it, so we swapped. The owner checked in on us, asking how everything was. I gave my opinion, and she offered me the All Dolled Up on the house. How sweet?!Also, my son dropped his cake pop, hugging the GIANT gummy bear decor. MELTDOWN!!! She replaced it when she realized what had happened. We chilled for a second to enjoy our treats , drinks, and even a little football on the TVs.Excellent customer service. Nice place to grab something sweet for the kids or even yourself. A drink for adults or shaje fur the kids and chill.With the new space, I'm sure we'll be back when we need a sweet treat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I'll start by saying that I've only experienced Sugar Rush once and it was specifically for their cupcakes. My friend's boyfriend put an order in for us and even delivered them. He's a sweetie. I got a lemon blueberry cupcake with blueberry icing and I couldn't put it down. There were whole blueberries inside, sort of like a muffin, but it was all cake. It was gone in a flash. My friend went with the red velvet and raved about it as well. I'm not in the Reynoldsburg area very often but I know my first cupcake from here won't be my last.

The vanilla funfetti cake was perfect. It's light and the frosting is just right - not too sweet, super perfect mouth feel. The chocolate is not as chocolatey as I like but if you're looking for a light milk chocolate flavor it's delicious.

The best desserts in Columbus . Unique and tasty. The creative drinks are a plus too. I love that they support other small local businesses by promoting their stuff in their shop.

Loved the selection. Friendly service. I got some creme brûlée cupcakes that were fabulous.

The best cake and cupcakes in Columbus Ohio. I had a cake from here for a birthday party I attended and loved it so much I got my boyfriend's birthday cake from here. The owner of this place really cares about her customers and I love that I've never had bad customer service here.

Warning! If you order a cake and they make a mistake (like give you the wrong flavor), they will NOT give you a refund. Not even a percentage of a refund. For a cake that was $147 I was offered a coupon for my next order or a free milkshake‍. So lame, no thank you! I will not be going back.

In ordered gender reveal cupcakes. The owner insisted they put colored sprinkles (called it something else) the cupcakes were hard to eat without making a mess. There were pink sprinkles inside of the box so we knew before we even had one. I was rather disappointed after spending quite a bit on 2 dozen cupcakes. Would I order from here again probably not.
