Steven's Catering

Steven's catered my wedding. I heard about them from a friend who uses their services all the time, and now I definitely understand why. Steven impressed me throughout the process! My first meeting with him was different than with any other caterer: he spoke with me and my mom and was clearly very passionate about the food itself! (Amazingly, I didn't get that vibe from any of the others I met with). We talked through many options and what would be best for the event and the guests coming, during that meeting and afterward, to make sure we had the right menu. I also got to taste test almost everything that I had actually chosen (not just any samples from his menu) and was impressed even with that.One very important thing was the fact that Steven was extremely willing to accommodate dietary issues. I had two friends attending the wedding with severe food allergies (both different ones), and without hesitation, Steven offered to custom make each of them a plate to avoid any cross contamination. No other caterer that I spoke to was willing to do this, but it made all the difference for my friends who were able to enjoy the wedding without worry.Finally, I can't stress enough how good the final results were. I got so many comments during the wedding - even from people who aren't foodies like me and wouldn't normally comment on food - telling me that it was the best and healthiest food they had ever had at a wedding. I would have to agree. It takes a lot to pull that off for a large group of people, but Steven's did it beautifully and very kindly. I would recommend Steven's to anyone!

We work with Steven's Catering on a regular basis. They are always on time, the food is delicious and everyone is great to work with! They did our holiday party for us this past weekend and everything was perfect! The food variety was great! The bartenders and drinks served were awesome and clean-up was quick! We love using Stevens for any of our big company events! They are the best around!

We used Steven's Catering for our wedding and could not have been happier with the experience. We gave him our budget at the start and he gave us several options to stay within it. He was always quick to respond to any communication and made sure we had all our questions answered prior to the big day. The food was absolutely wonderful (wedding guests are still talking about it a week later) and working with Steven and his team was a pleasure. His staff is incredibly friendly and made sure there were no hiccups during the reception. I highly recommend Steven's Catering for your wedding!!

Steven's caters our work Christmas party every year and other events in our office. I typically mention a few must have items and he comes up with the rest. We have never been disappointed and our employees always look forward to his food at our parties.

Stevens catered my daughters wedding at White Star Farms on 9/10/16. I cant say enough about how fanatastic this crew is!!! From supurb food, service and storm watchers ( nasty weather and reception in a huge tent) they were on top of everything and help make the wedding a very special day. Love these guys!! Cindy A,

Steven catered my wedding and I cannot say enough good things! We worked with Steven to craft the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner menu. He was on time to every meeting, available by phone/text, and participated in a "meeting of the minds" with all of our vendors to ensure everything was seamless and planned out. He was patient as we weighed exactly what we wanted to serve. He was willing to be flexible and think outside the box when the venue insisted that we weren't allowed to use their on-site ovens (which later, we did get to use them due to his due diligence!). Everyone LOVED the food and service. We got a lot of comments back about the deviled eggs, the salmon, and the chicken!Do yourself a favor and book Steven's Catering for your wedding or other event needs! You won't regret it!

I used Steven's Catering for my son's engagement party. Steven offered many helpful tips to make this a special event. The food was amazing and the wait staff was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend using Steven's Catering for your next party. I know I will!

Don't expect Steven's catering to travel far for your event. I was sent an email stating that lockbourne Ohio is to far out for them. So I was surprised by this response so I looked up the distance and time it would take to get from their location to where my event would be and it turns out 31 minutes (14 miles) is too far for them to travel.

I have to agree with another post on here. I never had the chance to sample the food either because Steve's customer service skills do not seem to exist. We originally contacted them because their website mentions how much attention to detial they have and how superior their customer service skills are. Well, I have the e-mail correspondence and telephone log to prove just how unexceptional they are. We contacted Steve on June 4th with all the details necessary to provide us with an initial quote. We included the date, the number of people, the location, and the type of services we were looking for. 2 days later I received a response asking the date of the wedding and to give them a call. I responded with the date and left a message for Steve. On June 11, I followed up via email because he never responded. On or about June 17th Steve finally called me back of course apologizing and this is where the fun begins.Despite all of the necessary information being detailed in my original email, I had to explain again what we were looking for. Steve suggested that we meet so he could go over the menus and possibilities. At this point, we are not looking to waste our time or a caterer's time, so were initially interested in getting some quotes to get a sense of whether they were in the ballpark ofwhat we were willing to spend. (some caterer's we have come across were simply out of our league immediately, so we figure why waste time).At this point Steve proceeds to tell me he prefers to sit down with people and work with what they are willing to spend rather than provide a quote. I explained we would rather get an idea of what he charges (obviously just an initial quote, nothing firm) and to see a proposal before giving our budget. He gets defensive and after lecturing me about that not being his business practice with 20+ years in the business, he says he will send me something and then hangs up..somewhat rudely.So here we are a week later, no quote and I email again. Mind you, he never responds, but instead has his employee Mary respond. She responds about an hour later saying "Steve left me a message and asked me to let you know that you can move forward with your planning. It doesn't seem that our business practices meet your needs so we will remove ourselves from your catering bid process."So, actually asking for a bid up front to get a quote before sharing how much you are willing to spend is against their business practice....interesting. On top of that, perhaps after 20+ years of experience, you shoudl learn the number one rule of customer service....be honest and return your prospect's correspondence!Hope this helps someone else avoid spending more than they need to or the hassle of dealing with a company who has no customer service skills.

Stevens came highly recommended by quite a few people whom I trust. The caterer that one uses for an event makes a huge difference. It's always scary to try someone new, however, since he came highly recommended, I asked him to cater a large event I was having. Stephen met with me personally and was very helpful. On the night of the event, things could not have gone more smoothly. His chef had been the chef at the Lakes Country Club. I cannot tell you how many compliments I heard about the food. People were not just saying the food was wonderful, they were saying they wanted to dive face first into this or that!Also, I forgot to mention that two days before the event, I was forced to make quite a few changes in the food. The person with whom I worked handled it as if it were no big deal then quickly turned the menu around in that short amount of time. I'm sure this must have caused them a lot of trouble but they never let on. I highly recommend this caterer. The food was wonderful and things could not have gone more smoothly. I did not have to worry about a thing. When they cleaned up and left, it was as though they had never been there. Everything was spotless.
