Great place for breakfast!! And the Service is exceptional!! Ali took care of us, on the spot with refills and other suggestions. We both had the fresh tenderloin and eggs with hashbrowns. Eggs cooked perfect and tenderloin was moist! Recommend and will return. Thanks Steve's Village Inn!BTW we just had Pizza here the night before and it was delicious as well. Got a photo of the pizza but the eggs and tenderloin smelled so good we dove in forgetting the photo!!

I posted a review about 4 months ago. I had to hop back here and give another review. The fact is the food here is really good and the staff is really nice and personable. I went for a different order than my go to fish sandwich, not because anything wrong ; it's my favorite! However today I just had a craving for a sub. My goodness what a great idea this was! I ordered a Italian sub and let me tell you that was the best sub I have had. First off the meat on this is not your shaved paper thin deli meat it's the ham off the bone baked ham and the turkey was not dry or tasteless and the salami was just as tasty. It's served with all the yummy toppings- tomato, lettuce, onion, CHEESE, Mayo and Italian dressing. Then it's baked up in the pizza oven to perfection! You can of course omit or add items you like or don't like. I kept it as they listed it on the menu and I don't think it needs any changes in my opinion and taste. I had a side of onion rings REAL onion rings not the frozen minced kind, these are my go to so good! This sub was stuffed and served on a 8"? Sub bun that was toasted just perfect. They have a variety of different subs but I do believe I now have a new favorite item that I can have when we visit. Highly recommend this diner. It's clean and the atmosphere is laid back and you can have a great meal and enjoy the people at your table and hear the conversation you are having. You will have a hard time choosing what to order. They also have daily specials posted. Great diner, ENJOY!

I am a lifelong Kingston resident, and Steve's Village Inn has always been the go-to place here in town for awesome food. Their burgers are fabulous! Great pizza, as well. Their breakfast consistently brings in folks from all over the area. Bottom line: 5 stars, hands down. A classic place!

Not sure what was going on but the place wasn't that busy and we were there for over an hour with no food. Entire drink was spilled on hubby so he was soaked. Everyone has a bad day so we helped clean it up and was understanding and not rude about it but when our food wasn't coming out and others were waiting 2 hours for their food it wasn't looking good. People were waiting to pay for their food for @5-10 minutes. Been here one other time for breakfast and it wasn't anything fancy and was ok. The service was a lot better then and it was packed. This place is definitely off our list.

I can not tell you if the food is good or not because we never got that far. . On the suggestion of my neighbor, I took my son and three grandchildren to eat at this restaurant. We walked in and seated ourselves with no one acknowledging our presence. After twenty minutes of being ignored I asked a waitress if she could send our waitress over. She rudely replied, "She will be with you in a minute." Well ten minutes later and we still had not been acknowledged and decided to get up and leave as our presence was obviously not wanted. Needless to say we will never return and will tell everyone we know to avoid your establishment as well.

Country-style comfort food; a rustic atmosphere complete with a pool table and lottery machines; excellent service and actually reasonable prices, despite the inflation in the past couple years. I often stop by here on my way to Hocking Hills. Won $5 on my lottery ticket once, which immediately went to the waitress haha. It's simple yet efficient and true to its spirit.

I've been driving through Kingston two or three times a year for about 25 years and never made time to stop at the Village Inn. Today my wife and I headed home from Tarlton to Sanford NC and decided to get breakfast. The place looks like a throwback to an age long past. Clean, simple, country diner/bar with the same group of old guys sitting at a table laughing and telling stories. Our waitress, Megan, a tall slender, pretty strawberry blonde was friendly, attentive, who kept my wife's tea hot and my coffee cup full.The fried tenderloin, eggs, hash browns and biscuits were excellent (ok I was really hungry so they might have been just real good). The menu was typical classic country diner fare. Everything on the menu sounded like simple good comfort food and we're looking forward to stopping in again on our next visit to Ohio.
