This family owned and operated establishment is wonderful. We rarely want to go anywhere else and have made Star of India our weekly dinner outing. The dishes are consistently cooked to order with our desired ingredients, spice levels, and cooked to perfection. The dishes are accurate, plentiful, filling, and delicious. The waitress is very warm and welcoming, and even kindly inquires if we're ok when we miss a week. She remembers our typical orders although sometimes we deviate and try something new. She's always quick with refills, and while never feeling hurried, she's prompt with the bill. This small restaurant is adorned with an Indian motif. They offer great food for a modest price. We never leave hungry and always satisfied with our experience. Absolutely recommend!

Very good. A busy little storefront restaurant. The food is good (hence the 4, not 5 stars) but I found it lacking in the essential spices that make Indian food so deliciously unique and exquisite. The service was okay as well. One of the best parts was the delicious tea after our lunch provided as a part of their buffet. The restaurant felt dark and dated but I didn't go for the ambiance.

If you are in this quaint town and looking for delicious Indian Food.... STAR OF INDIA! Lunch specials are amazing in taste and portion! We actually stopped in yesterday and my 3 daughters and I shared a meal as a snack and to "check the place out".... And we came back today to enjoy lunch! Lunch Chicken Tika Masala. Veggie fritters (ok), chick peas (delicious!!) Nan plenty and delicious. Rice pudding (some of the best I have had) and the masala itself.... Finger licking yummy!!!

The service was fantastic. We shared the lamb curry and the lamb vindaloo. They both were excellent as well as the fresh nan. I loved the table covers, it was decorated simply but still quite elegant. I would definitely recommend this place when in Marietta.

The people who work here are ALWAYS amazing and so kind. The inside of the restaurant is kind of basic, but honestly the food is worth the lack of ambiance. I'd consistently good EVERY time. We've never gotten anything that was disappointing and the portion size is really good for the price. If you like Indian food, definitely give this place a try!
