Easy to get on, great price, has some challenging holes. I would pick this over Foxfire any day.

Worst then it's ever been, absolutely will never spend a penny there again. Treated horribly by the owner and his employees, not to mention the awful thing they call a course they make you pay to play

I decided to play a round here yesterday (father in law insisted) even after a bad experience I had 2 years ago, and well.. much, much improved. The course is taking pretty much the same precautions as others in the area for the COVID virus which is great. The course was in pretty good shape for the horrendous weather we've had lately. My only issue which is not the courses fault is the group in front of us was a slooooooowwwww foursome, my group was a threesome and they had no desire to let us play through even though we asked to do so. Overall, I'd see no reason to not return for regular play moving forward. My father in law is partial to playing here and since my normal playing partner broke his wrist it looks like I'll be making many trips back to play here sooner than later. Nice work keeping everyone safe.

Played Split Rock today for the first time and I can't wait to get back to check it out in-season. The course has a lot of character, but is still open enough so it's okay if you spray the drive a little. Kind of off the beaten path, but not too bad of a drive down from Columbus. Can't wait to play it again when it is more green!

Don't waste your time going there! The course is a cow pasture. The carts and cart paths are horrible. Above all the staff is extremely rude. I will never return which is a shame as I live close to the course.

Terrible! Very rude staff. Called and booked a T time for 9 holes. When I got to the course and paid they charged me for 18 and said the 9 hole rate only starts an hour after our T time and they do not give refunds. They booked the time for me! And refused that they had made a mistake. They gave me a rain check that only covers half of the 9 hole fee. Besides that the course was awful. Felt like I was golfing in a farm field. The cart paths were terrible too. Definitely will not be golfing here again.

I wish I could give it zero stars. Fairways are patchy. Green roll like shag carpet. Players don't know golf ettique. Like don't drive up to the next group when they are on the Tee. It is in a tie for worst course in central Ohio with Timberview which is simply retched. Better choices include Homestead Springs, Rolling Meadow, any City of Columbus golf course. DO NOT PLAY HERE IF YOU HAVE PLAYED GOLF MORE THAN ONCE THIS YEAR.

The course has vastly improved over the past couple of years and the best kept secret and hidden gem. The staff is so friendly.

Split rock golf course has a tremendously friendly staff. They are super accommodating. I practice at their facility quit a bit and enjoy their range and chipping green. The course has played great all year offering really good layout and challenges. -Jake
