Spices of Life Gourmet Coffee

It is a little local coffee shop that has a very small dining area consisting of about 6 tables. They do offer different coffees and all the fancy liquors and toppings but the main problem I have with them is that they do not put their coffee in warming thermoses. This is OK if they are going through coffee very quickly but affects the coffee taste if left on the hot-plate for any length of time. The food is limited to sandwiches and salads, which are average.

What a pleasant find. I've driven by many times and wondered about this place. Finally had a chance to visit and loved it. Had the D'Orleans (their own hot coffee drink) and a chocolate muffin. Both were great. Folks were super friendly. Will definitely be back, next time for a sit down breakfast which I didn't know they served!

My favorite breakfast sandwich in the athens area - especially for the price. Barista/server is extremely friendly and kind. Love being able to get espresso without going uptown. Service is fast and quality is great. Love this business

Love this place! Always good food, and friendly employees! Fast service as well. Would recommend spice of life to everyone.
