First I emailed a request (on the 13th of the month) to order a cake two weeks from my sons birthdate (the 24th). I got an email saying they were booked for the month. So I wrote back to ask about a cake for the 10th of the following month. (my daughter's birthdate). I got the exact same response, word for word. I don't believe this business is professional nor motivated to provide service. Such a terse, rude response was sufficiently revealing.

When I tell you her cakes are beautiful and delicious...oh my. Shes done my birthday cake 2 years in a row. I just placed my order for my baby shower with 120 cupcakes and a main cake. Shes very courteous and responds quick. I tell her my theme and allow her to design as she pleases. She will be the only baker we get cakes from!

This bakery is pretty well known in the Columbus area, so I already had an idea of who I wanted to make the cake for my godson's 5th birthday party. Another friend of mine also had them make her baby shower cake a few months prior (which was delicious!!) so I was pretty confident in their product. Luckily for me, they were running a special on 20-25 serving cakes for $99 at that time. I did the ordering process thru email and while it took a few days for the initial response, everything after that was within a day. (I'm sure they were busier than normal with the special going on). I sent pictures so they knew what I specifically wanted, chose a cake flavor and that was pretty much it! They sent a PayPal invoice for payment. After that just had to wait until the day of the party for pick up, they operate the business from home so you go there to pick it up which was simple as well. Everyone loved the cake!!! It was sooo moist and the decorations were spot on, they do a great job. If you follow them on Instagram you can see the amazing work they do and they advertise their specials there as well. I will definitely be ordering from Ms. Yvette for any special events I have in the future!!

So beyond pleased!! The owner, Mrs. Yvette fit in my order even though they were pretty booked already. She worked with me in the design and was extremely patient with me with all my questions. The cake turned out even better than the design I had. I was even able to add on to the order which was very much appreciated. The cake and cupcakes were truly enjoyed at my event...all thanks to the professionalism and awesome Mrs. Yvette!!!! Thank you very much and will certainly be back!!

I was speechless at how AMAZING my kids birthday cake came out! It was delicious!!! Everyone loved it! Definitely worth it! Amazing artist and Baker!

I have purchased cakes from Specialty Sweet Creations numerous times. Yvette Lewis and her staff have founded their company on three principles. Integrity, Quality and Love. Her orders are always completed on time and no detail goes unnoticed. The love that goes into her creations is shown by the quality and love in the final product. I was not impressed by the flavor or the creation of the cake. I sent a picture of what I wanted and she used paper instead of a hand design that I asked for. There wasn't much flavor to the cake or icing either.

I haven't received my cake yet, as I have just placed an order. And that's why I only have given 4 stars so far. But I want to say how professional, kind and prompt they are. I initially inquired about a cake elsewhere and the communication and professionalism was way off. My sister told me about Specialty sweet creations and in no time I had a quote, and an order placed. Not to mention all of my questions answered! I was so discouraged after dealing with the initial company I'd tried to place and order with. And didn't think my son would get the cake I'd promised. But Specialty Sweet Creations came through! I have no doubt My sons cake will be exactly what he's been dreaming of. I wish I had found out about them sooner. Thank you!

When looking for a recent bakery to create a unique wedding cake for my special day, after searching through google for unique cakes, I came across Specialty Sweet Creations. I had sent an email to Yvette with an idea of what I was looking for. She promptly responding stating she could do it! I was very impressed by the fast response, as I had contacted another well known bakery, and had to call them a week later as I had gotten no response.When our wedding day came, the cake looked wonderful! The guests were very impressed with the cake, and everyone thought it was beautiful. Not only did it look great, but it tasted great! She worked with us on a recipe that made the cake really shine.Due to the service and the cake quality, I am sure we will use them for many more things! Always great to support local businesses in our community!
