Southern Craft

I can see why Southern Craft is so busy and it took us 2 tries to get in. Definitely the best restaurant in my hometown! Everything tastes fresh and authentic (I have been to NOLA ton and was recently there prior to this visit). So glad to see a unique spot doing so well in a town that can't even keep chain restaurants around. I will for sure be back the next time I'm in town visiting family!

Creole fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken and a 14 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes. Not pictured, bang bang chicken. All was fantastic. Small place with limited seating but it's well worth the wait. Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go back!

Once again, a 10 out of 5, the ambiance is relaxing, the service from an adorable bartender named Amauri T. (Got the name from my receipt) was excellent. The food was phenomenal! I had the crab fettuccine, with a Cesar salad and cornbread. All of it was amazing. If you don't try this place, you are missing out!!! Tried to get an up close picture of the pasta, so you can see they don't skimp on the meat. So much crab!!!

Sat at the bar by myself. Nicky was a great bartender/server. The gumbo, sautéed spinach and fries were delicious. Would definitely go back.

One of nightly specials was the Spaghetti Bolognese, but they had just run out, so we decided to split Jambalaya and some Crab and Shrimp Gumbo. With those, we got cornbread which provided plenty for two people after enjoying the sausage ball and voodoo egg roll appetizers. Rounded it all out with a Pimm's Cup and Sour Shack Cherry cocktail. Favorites from our meal were the gumbo and the egg rolls. All of the seafood there is very fresh - the fried items were not overly greasy. Someone was waiting to open the door for us when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Our server took our order promptly and returned frequently to bus the table which is so rare everywhere these days! The tables, menus, salt/pepper shakers, floors, chairs and bathrooms were all clean. I have ZERO complaints.

We were greeted with a smile at the door. Super cute and cozy restaurant. Our server was super nice and attentive. We got the Boudin appetizer and they were so tasty. I had the Cajun Red Snapper and literally savored every single bite. My husband had the pineapple lime grouper and loved it. Raspberry salted caramel bread pudding was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Can't wait to come back.

The food was fabulous. I was anxious to try the jambalaya because I've never had it before. It did not disappoint. The flavors were delicious. My friend who took me to dinner had a huge rib eye steak cooked to order. Gracie, our waitress, was spot on with service without trying to rush us in a crowded restaurant. It was loud and everyone was obviously enjoying their dinner. All the wait staff moved constantly to keep customers happy. I highly recommend this spot for dinner. Southern Craft needs to expand to serve more clients!

[[Fri.30.June.2023 @8:45pm]] My wife & I placed a order for pickup this evening, when i called to put in our order, it was easy and simple to do, we ordered the two evening specials Spaghetti & Charred Grilled Oysters and we also ordered the FireCracker Shrimp on Rice. The staff stated pickup for order would be in 30minutes, which was plenty time to get there and make the pickup, it was little pricey $$$72.00. Once arrived went in to pickup order which was easy, simple and quick, we then headed to Spencers Landing Park ViennaWV to have our meal down by Ohio River. The food appearance was Great as well all seemed to be prepared correctly and tasted Delicious. It was Great Evening having late supper with Wife by the River.

Great food and great service. Only complaint is that they probably need a bigger place. A little too crowded on a Saturday night lol.

Once again, they did not disappoint!We are always greeted with friendly, smiling faces! Our server tonight was Skylar, she was fabulous! Our food, as always was AMAZING! Hats off to the chefs! Oh, and did I mention the cocktails? Always some new concoctions that are a perfect precursor to your dinner while you wait! You must try this quaint establishment! One of our favorites!
