Sotol Mexican Cuisine

First time at Sotol and we had a great experience.We went on a weeknight, hardly anyone was there. There are plenty of tables and the place was clean. The staffs were very sweet and eager to assist. The food was made to order, Everything was very fresh. We ordered Chicken Nachos, beef burrito and beef tacos. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back to try out other items.

The space is clean and the service was prompt and friendly. There was plenty of seating when I arrived on a weeknight. The food was prepared to order and, while it was tasty, it was somewhat lacking in flavor overall. But I took a picture of the specials and will definitely come back for those. It's worth noting that they offer beer only, no liquor.

I ordered my food to go but it was so good! The inside seemed nice and really clean. The employees greeted me and were super friendly. I ordered two a la carte tacos- carne asada and Al pastor along with a side of rice. I am super picky about Mexican rice and this met the mark! I got the hot sauce on the side, red and green. The red was more flavorful but both are pretty spicy. Their salsa was really good and tasted super fresh. I'll definitely be back!

First time here. They now occupy the space our favorite Greek restaurant used to. It's good but not great. The chips and salsa were from a bag and jar and the food was average. We ordered the Grande Burro a burrito which is served with French fries (!) and the Asado an interesting meat stew served with beans and tortillas but no salad for accompaniment. It tasted like the meat was marinated in ketchup. The service was prompt and attentive, the atmosphere is sparse except for the Mariachi music. Parking is abundant outside this strip mall.

Came in for dinner on a Thursday evening. Pretty empty so we were seated promptly. The inside ambience is fairly plain. Service was prompt and accommodating. Chips and salsa tasted fresh. Chips were warm and crispy and light. Guacamole tasted fresh, very good though I would have liked a larger portion.. Queso was standard queso. I ordered the chicken chimichangas. Authentic tasting, not as crispy as I've had in the past. My wife is vegetarian and although they do not have many vegetarian options they were accommodating and made the enchiladas vegetarian. Wife said they tasted great. Menu in general is not large. Overall very good. Overall very good. Will be back.

We enjoyed our first time at Sotol very much - we will be back soon!I had heard great things and our experience was much the same. Fresh salsa and warm chips, friendly service and clean, fresh decor.Menu looked great - ordered horchata to drink which is always a sign of great, authentic Mexican food. I had huevos rancheros, hubby had the beef chimichanga. I loved the flavors and fresh made tortillas! Can't wait to come back. I only wish I had remembered to take some pics!

Clean super friendly staff and really good/simple tacos... nothing fancy Will stop back to try something a little more substantial

Stopped in here on a whim. Great service and prices were great for my family of four. Will definitely be back!

Reasonably priced food with delicious birria tacos that includes consome'. Clean restaurant and friendly service. Plenty of parking available.

Tried this restaurant after reading reviews. Disappointed. Wanted a simple basic plate with 1 taco, 1 enchilada, rice and beans. Not available as a dinner entree so I had to get each item a la carte. My husband ordered the chimichangas entree. It tasted fine and the entree came with rice but no beans. There is an additional charge because he wanted 1 beef chimichanga and 1 grilled chicken chimichanga. We asked for hot salsa as the salsa that came with the chips was mild. Did not know until we got the check they charged $1.99 for the condiment dish with hot salsa. We paid the bill, and did tell the waitress customers should be told if there is an extra charge for anything. The food wasn't special or compelling so we're likely not returning.
