I doordashed 1/4 slab of ribs extra sauce , green beans , chili and brisket sandwhich. I must say the slab of ribs where delicious. They fell off the bone just right. The chili was spicyyyyy. I love spicy and honestly I couldnt handle it. The green beans( mistake) collard greens were just plain and the brisket I would say for me I needed to add way more sauce. It was tender but a little dry for me. The bbq sauce was definitely. More on the tangy sauce

Went here for a lunch today and everything was absolutely delicious. I got the pulled pork sandwich, max n cheese, and coleslaw. The meat was so tender and the sauces taste very good. Sides were also flavorful and yummy. The staff were very kind and quick to give our orders. We sat on the porch and it was beautiful outside and in a nice area. Worth the visit and will come back.

Excellent BBQ! I'm a southerner and grew up in Georgia. I've eaten at the local City Barbecue for years and this is better food quality, atmosphere and pricing. It's directly next to The Local Cantina, in an old Victorian house, and well worth the trip. Collard Greens 'N Pork and Spicy Brisket Chili are truly spicy! If you want a meal to make you glad you were hungry, this is the place.

Good bbq spot. Not a game changer, but good, solid bbq in Indy. Definitely hit them up because there may not be anything better in the area.It's sort of a hidden gem. It is set in a random Victorian house set back off of the street. There's not a ton of signage, so if you didn't know it was there you'd probably miss it.The brisket had good flavor but could have been trimmed a bit better. There was a significant amount of fat. Also, they thick cut the slices and weigh them precisely, so you may only get one slice when you order. The sides were good. Nothing to complain about, but nothing that sticks in my mind. They are known for the max and cheese.Drinks are in cans/bottles so there are no refills.Staff is a cafeteria serving, so you really don't get much interaction with them besides order taking.I'd definitely come back if I'm the area. What a little gem in the brewery district. The meats are amazing. Ribs fell off the bone and the brisket was divine. I wasn't a fan of the Mac and cheese (pasta too soft). The patio and inside are really nice. Definitely give it a try.

This place is odd. I've been a few times, and each time it's been empty. There is never a crowd or anything, I feel like I've seen a couple people eating there at most. The pulled pork is great, especially with their pickles and pickled onions. The Max and Cheese has a good flavor profile, I like how it has melted cheese on top, but the base of the mac n cheese is a little on the dry side. I like their sauces for their meat, very flavorful. But every time I went, they said they were out of their brisket. It was earlier in the day too, lunch time. So each time I was surprised that they "sold out" of their brisket when there was obviously nobody in the restaurant. The owner should definitely up the prep on the brisket so I can at least try it once, haha
