When you realize you left a frequently used item an hour away at your best friend's place... what else is there to do, but Yelp where to find the nearest replacement. Yep, that's what happened to me over the weekend. When I noticed, I did a quick search and discovered Smoke Zone Smoke Shop just up the street from me. Located on the busy corner of High St. and 5th Ave., this smoke shop is currently off the beaten path due to construction, but provides nothing short of helpful, attentive service. Street parking doesn't exist in this area of the Short North right now, but here in a few months it should be available again. Until then, there's a small parking lot across the street, right next to BrewDog. I made the quick trek across the street, dodging construction workers and makeshift ramps to be greeted immediately. At a quick glance, I noticed they had what I needed but I browsed around for a minute too. They really offer everything you need if you're a smoker of any kind. From large glass bongs to vape pens and everything in between (yes, there's a lot in between), they've got it. Their prices are on par with what I've seen at other similar establishments too. I'll definitely be back and I really appreciate how friendly their staff was. Pro tip - they got a stellar check-in offer for a free pack of rolling papers. Just an FYI... you're welcome!

Cameron was amazing! She helped me so much. One of the only places open late, that's how I found this place. Super amazing people and the glass is on point! Highly recommend.

Wow, just wow. There are a handful of head shops in and around the Short North, but Smoke Zone is the best! They have everything you could ask for whether it be; tobacco mods and accessories, medical mods glass and accessories, quality tane, premium kratom, CBD, or just some down right vibey gear. The prices are very fair, I priced out a few items locally and online, and Smoke Zone couldn't be beat (especially the consumables)!The guy working the counter was very pleasant and professional, and knew the answers to every single question I asked; knowledgeable without a doubt. Shoot, I was even given some raffle tickets to potentially get some free glass, which seems to be a recurring trend here. If you're down in the Short North, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in, but if you're from the surrounding area (where quality head shops seem to be lacking) it's definitely worth the drive!

I like this place because they have a lot of affordable items in their store. You can get new mass produced quartz nails for under $10 or you can get the artisanal stuff for a few dollars more. The guy who assisted me was knowledgeable and helpful, us he cut me a deal on a really sick honeybee torch. This place is no frills and welcoming.

I'm a pretty simple customer but I'm always greeted with a warm hello and the two main people who help me, a guy and a girl are always nice. Always entering and leaving happy. Wide selection

Talk about staff changes. Every time I go in there someone new is working. When I ask about my favorite clerk "Oh ya he left"; I ask about someone else a month later "Oh ya, she doesn't work here anymore". Why can't they keep a staff? Plus my piece broke and the gal working was too new to figure out how to replace it.

Every time I've gone in, I've left happy. This last time, Chris was amazing. Taught me some new info I didn't know and introduced me to a new product. Definitely worth checking out! My Favorite place to go!
