Smoke-E's Bar & Grill

Great little place in Kalida. The bone-in wing meat falls off of the bone. The BBQ is very flavorful, and the meat is nice and tender. Would recommend when in town. I'm not a beer drinker, but it seems they have a good menu mix of IPA's, domestics, and wine.

Was driving through a bunch of backroads on my way home from a trip up north and decided to stop somewhere that wasn't a chain in a town I had never been to before. That place was Smoke-E's and I don't regret my choice one bit! We got there right when they opened and the staff was so nice and excited to have us in the restaurant. Then we got to the food and drinks. DELICIOUS is an understatement to how cooked the food was. Got loaded chips with smoked pulled pork and the smokiness was incredible. Such good flavor. I had the bacon burger, which was also super tasty and my girlfriend and I split the mini-donuts for dessert, which left me wanting to order tons more to go. They also served alcohol on Sundays and we both enjoyed margaritas that were a great blend of Jose and mix. Overall, what a terrific experience. Whether you live in Kalida, are driving through, or are driving through a nearby town, you need to stop here. No questions asked.

Delicious bbq! Casual atmosphere. Great service. Second time we have been here. Brisket is tender and tasty. Onion rings are Very good! We will definitely come again!

Now I don't get out much in Putnam county. I mostly eat at the in laws. But I had a fantastic burger with the "fair fries" and it was delicious. I'm also impressed with their beer selection. St the time of this review they have Dogfish Head 60 min IPA on tap and not just the usual trio of lite beers. Nice decor, clean and well lit. I think it might very well be the best bar and grill in the county.

The word smoke in the title is true, the food is very smoky. I prefer the items like pulled pork burritos to mask the intense smoky flavor. The place is nice and clean, but inconsistent bbq knocks it down a star.

Wings, burgers, wraps, ribs...you really can't go wrong! We frequent smoke-e's because it's the best food in the county!

Modern sports bar feel. Waitress very polite and charming. Pizza was delicious. Wings had good smoky taste. Wish they had a dry rub option for the wings. Nice local place.

Love the smoked turkey wraps & fries. Pizza is awesome. Best place for ice cold Old Milwaukee light. Great place for everyone to get together.

Don't let appearances fool you, the outside of the building needs a little touch up, but the interior was great. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the restaurant was. They have a decent food selection, all of which seems good to try at least once.
