Skybox Sports Bar

Met up with some friends for an OSU game last week - loved the place. Comfy, lots of beer selections and the owner was awesome!

This bar has it all! Great layout, plenty of space. Pool tables and a patio out front. Staff have all been friendly and cordial. Was pleased with the alcohol selection and the prices. Plenty if tv screens too if you want to watch the latest sports. Definitely recommended!!

Had my son's 21st birthday party here. We just love this place! The staff is friendly. The drink prices are very reasonable. Place is always clean. They have (if I'm remembering correctly) 5 pool tables. Games are $1 each. Plenty of room to accommodate our party of 13+. We didn't get any food this time but I did notice that the prices have gone up very little over the past 3 years. The owner is very nice and was accommodating to us putting tables together for our group. The bathrooms have ALWAYS been extremely clean. Wish we lived closer so that we could visit more often!

I've remembered why I don't come here more often. This is a decent bar. Not much food. But the biggest annoyance is a regular, apparently, that is loud and obnoxious and yelling at the games on the screen. Go somewhere else if you want to have a good time with a pleasant experience.

Went there twice now after 12am and both times the doors have been locked. So must have been closed at 12am, even though they are considered a sports "bar". Went there many times before When bar "manager" was there and it has been open till 2:00am at least. Super under impressed with the blonde bartender who decides to close it up early. If you advertise yourself as a bar, then you should be open till "bar close".

This is a good local bar. We were looking for a place to go, close to home, with cheap drinks and cheap/light food. If you're wanting to go out for a nice dinner, this isn't the place! But we loved the bar- friendly people, friendly and timely wait staff, the bar tender made good recommendations. They have daily specials on drinks, including rotating craft beers for only $3.75 per pint on Fridays! They have Keno and pool tables as well. Dimly lit, hidden in a shopping mall, it was a great place to have a few drinks and go home after. I also had a chicken tender wrap which was pretty good. Limited food menu.

After a bad customer service experience due to the owner last time we were at Skybox, we decided to give it another shot because the location is convenient for our group. Our fun night out was cut short by a rude comment made by the owner. The situation escalated and then ended with the owner yelling expletives from behind the bar. Yelling horrible things at customers is never acceptable. Being in the customer service industry, the owner should be welcoming and hospitable to customers, not rude and argumentative. Everyone in the bar was visibly uncomfortable.If looking for a bar in the area, I would recommend spending your money at an establishment where the ownership appreciates your patronage.

I came here as part of an impromptu Polaris-dive-bar crawl shortly after I moved to the area. It's unassuming from the outside - part of a strip mall, nothing special. Once inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Southern Tier Double IPA was on draft (!!!), dart boards and other bar games were available, and jello shots were in the fridge. Not a must-go-to destination but I'll definitely stop by again.

The bartender was rude. She seemed annoyed by something.. got there and asked for a water and said I was going to get charged for it if I didn't drink.

We walked in on a Saturday evening at 7:00 and there was nobody in there. That's usually a tale tell sign that a place is not good. We still gave it a chance anyway. The service was abysmal. I have never met a bartender more rude than the one we had there. I didn't even have a desire to try the food. I would not recommend going to this place.
