I've been on the hunt for an egg drop soup as good as the first sip I had four years ago. I found that at Silk Road. Delicious, savory, eggy. I was thrilled. The soup in question came with a combo that had fried rice and sesame chicken too. The dense bundle of food is enough for several meals, all for a very reasonable price.Also, I ordered this takeout pretty early in the day by telephone. They were so fast, I had to run out there almost immediately to get my food. Very speedy service! Bravo Silk Road. I will be back.

We ordered carryout online Sat night and I went to pick it up. The guy at the counter was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was not the best.Phad Thai for me, with chicken and shrimp. I ordered it mild and it was. It was good, just not the best I've had. I did like the egg roll with shredded chicken and appreciate they use chicken vs. pork. I also had a shrimp egg roll and it was good, although a tad over fried. I really liked the edamame. Very tasty. Boyf thought his Sesame Shrimp was just ok. He didn't like the over-breading on the shrimp. He did get sick later that night and believed it may have been the breading or shrimp. We probably won't order here again, as there are a few places around that we like better. I did kick myself for not getting almond cookies that they have packaged by the counter. I love almond cookies and they are not found at all Asian restaurants.

I had a hankering for some comfort food during a rainy evening while visiting for work. Took to good ol' trusty GrubHub and up popped this gem. The Yelp reviews looked great, so I decided to give it a go.I ordered the hot & spicy wings, beef on a stick, shumai, and house pad thai (extra spicy). The wings were prepared nicely with a great, crispy yet non-greasy batter, but they weren't hot & spicy like I anticipated. The shumai was just your basic shumai, did the trick. The beef on a stick, holy cow (pun intended). Get this! 4 skewers, cooked perfect and tender. The house pad thai was a bit sweet, and again, not extra spicy as I had requested. The portion sizes were perfect and on-point with regards to price. I have a bunch of leftovers in the fridge, might pick off some tonight.

I never write reviews, but I finally had to for them. I consistently order from here for when I'm at work and hungry. They truly never disappoint.I believe they have one of the best crab rangoons in the city. They stuff those guys so full and they're always so delicious.The food is always hot and tastes freshly made. I usually get the orange chicken and pad thai because I can never choose which and they always end up being amazing leftovers.

Honestly what can I say about Silk Road. Super high quality ingredients and the flavors are perfect. Sesame chicken combination plate is my go to and is a great value. The wonton soup which I always get at any chinese restaurant is stellar. Lots of good filling and good wonton to soup/broth ratio.
