You can credit it to being noon, the hunger o'clock hour, sure. However, I don't think the full set of tables crammed together between the high window seats and the girl juggling the phone and long line at the counter are just a result of people being munchy. Yeah, the bright decor and thematic music helps. Cool, they have a hydration station, a high chair, can take phone payments...the list goes on. That's not what I'm here to drool about. I'm here to justify why you should be willing to spend at their slightly higher price point for lunch. It is merited. We were given an order number on our receipt so that we could sit and wait at a table. It took a while for our order, partially because of the rush, and partially because I'm under the impression that this is all cooked fresh when ordered. It all comes in to go bags, even though I noticed everyone dines in. It's a bit environmentally unfriendly in that way, though the bag was full and hefty, with plastic ware and enough napkins. There were also two mysterious sauce sides that I didn't try because of allergy fears. My bestie enjoyed it enough to take my cup back for his personal fridge instead of letting it go to waste. He ordered at #12 combo which is pork and pork. It came with pasta salad that managed to make cilantro not taste soapy, the noodles coated and not gloopy. (I have strong feelings about the gloop factor.)The pork was deliciously seasoned without being overpowering. Both the chorizo and pork were very juicy with a fine amount of cheese to add up to the perfect flavor combo, in part thanks to the avocado marrying them all. He ranked it a five star sandwich, only noting that in his personal preference he wished there was less mayo. I went for #15, the veggie sandwich. It came on a soft, rustic sub roll that still held the weight of the ingredients. It had a subtle sweetness from the red pepper vinaigrette, evenly distributed along a bed of melted on provolone and tomato slices. The jalapeno relish added a nice bite. My small slice of avocado did ploop out but I tucked it back in. I tend to mash my avocado to prevent this, though it did not detract from the overall sandwich. I left feeling full enough to skip dinner in favor of a small snack. If you're a local, you might as well join the perks program, because my fellow senors, it is worth it.

Popped in for our favorite sammies today for lunch on a Saturday. Prices have gone up a touch, but that's seemingly the case everywhere now, isn't it?Got our order of chicherron peruano and crillolo fish (each $12) to go. There were so many people waiting on food orders! We were maybe 5 orders back, so it took awhile. That's fine and was mildly expected. It's just not as convenient as ordering ahead and picking up when it's ready. Side from the wait, the sandwiches were as delicious as always! It's still one of my favorites for lunch. Should have ordered a side of cilantro pasta salad, though. I knew I'd get full on the sandwich but that pasta salad is crazy good, as are the fried plantains!

A great lunch spot located in the Grandview neighborhood. There's a lot for parking, which was a delightful surprise. The turkey jalapeño was especially delicious with their additions of caramelized onions and a fresh jalapeño relish. I do wish there was more of a Peruvian flavor in the sandwich. To me, the sandwich tasted like a really good sandwich and an ok Peruvian sandwich. If you're looking for more Peruvian flavors, I'd opt for something else on the menu! No cups and very limited utensils were put out in the service station. Though it was a fair trade-off because my sandwich arrived promptly!

So consistent and so delicious! We came during lunch and had the pork and pork sandwich. It's an amazing sandwich. It's not huge, but the layers of flavors are great. Pork loin with chorizo on top. With a melty cheese and sauces, it's definitely crave worthy. You can make your sandwich a combo and add a side and drink. We had the avocado salad and pasta salad. Service was friendly and many tables to sit inside.

This place has been on my list to try for a while and I was finally able to make it in! I will say... this place does have strange hours that made it hard to find a time to come in but I'm glad I was able to!I ordered the turkey breast with jalapeño sandwich and the cilantro cream pasta salad. The sandwich was pretty large and very flavorful. I do wish it was a little spicier/the jalapeno flavor was more prominent. The cilantro cream pasta salad was AMAZING. The prices here also seem very low for the amount you're getting-- I had half my sandwich leftover so it's definitely a good deal. Overall I really enjoyed this place. Would like to come back sometime if I can fine time!

10/10!!! Finally tried the Chicharrón and wowwwwww. I can't believe I've waited this long to try this sandwich!! Not much to say about the restaurant itself as I got takeout but the cashier was very friendly and my order was ready when I arrived. Definitely recommend trying this place and I cannot wait to try more of their menu.

So one issue I had which I am pretty understanding about this usually , but it took me 40 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I got my food. On a workday when I have an hour for lunch and the restaurant doesn't look busy, no one in line ahead of me I would assume ~10 mins or so wait at a sandwich shop. So I was pretty late to get back to my desk I definitely would've ordered ahead if I knew that was the timeline, but maybe some sort of time estimation at the counter would have been helpful. I can see why this would be 5 stars on another day and I will try it again. The break is amazingly fresh I would literally just eat a mayo sandwich and be happy. The chicken wasn't the most tender, I will probably try the pork next time or the turkey. I will try ordering ahead and see if that helps.

FINALLY made it here and I'm so sad it took me so long. The chicharron sandwich is EVERYTHING. The bread is crisp and fresh, the meat was perfectly tender and crispy at the same time. My boyfriend got the shaking beef and he said it was delicious. We came during lunch on a weekday, but they were still decently busy. Luckily they have plenty of tables to wait for your food.

First off, the food is amazing and very well priced. Loved my sandwich and the pasta salad. Place was packed at lunchtime and there were two people working. Every single package to go and they call your number. Mine took almost 45 minutes, but I did not have a time limit, and everyone else waiting seemed fine with the wait.
