Short North Pint House

A welcoming, beer-forward, wood-looking restaurant. I was surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and drinks here, and we're already looking forward to coming back to take advantage of some of their other specials in the future. PROS:-I'm a pretzel snob. Like, it's by-far one of my favorite foods. It isn't often that I come across pretzels I haven't had before, and the Short North Pint House has me dead to rights here. They have a $19 (it's expensive) "pretzel flight" that's made up of 3 pretzels and 3 corresponding dips. It is expensive for how much food you get, but the pretzels are (literally) stuffed. There's cream cheese in one of them and cheese in another. They're probably some of the most unique pretzels I'm going to have this entire year. -Tablemate got the wings. He said they were were good. They were overcooked and a bit dry, but that's all that he said would have kept them from being genuinely great. Good wing size, sauce flavor, and heat. -Really, really good espresso martini. -I'm not sure if they're beyond-packed on Thursday or dead, but they have wing specials, beer specials, $5 Espresso martinis, and more on Thursday. It's a wild day full of specials. CONS:-Almost all (I wanna say, like 90%) of the seating is high top tables meant for at least 4 people (in many cases, 4-12). If you're someone who doesn't find high tops comfortable or can't get on them, this will be problematic. There are a few picnic-style tables in the very back, but when I went, this section said "seating offlimits".-It's kinda loud in here. We came during off-peak times, and it was still pretty hard to hear one another. Bright side: we did end up getting a table though. But I imagine this place can be one of those "scream at your nearby tablemate" places when they're at peak hours. -We came for the Restaurant Week menu during the Restaurant Week days. The waitress, however, let us know they had chosen to stop doing Restaurant Week there a day early. Not awesome, but she was really helpful about showing us what items on their everyday menu were similar or the same as the Restaurant Week menu.

We came here for a quick dinner and it was pretty good, but this is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant -- it's dark and loud! Seems like a fun place but wasn't quite the vibe we were looking for.There are over 70 beers available plus a full bar and a pretty basic bar food menu. The Mac & Cheese and fries were great. I didn't love the Caesar salad, the dressing was a bit off to me. The service was good and I liked that we were able to pay via QR code when we were ready to go.

Short North Pint House has an unbeatable deal on Thursdays with their 75 cent wings. My boyfriend and I went back a second time after moving over to Columbus and it was just as good as we remembered. The staff was friendly and quickly placed our orders and brought our food out to us. It's a great sports bar vibe and I could see us coming back with a group of friends on a night out. It's the perfect place to watch any game as they have many tv screens plastered all over the walls, true sports bar style. They also seem to have other great deals running throughout the week like a $20 steak & fries dinner perfect for two. We definitely see ourselves coming back on a Monday to try it out for ourselves!

GREAT HAPPY HOUR DEALS! We went for a girls night out and LOVED our food here! Apps and pizzas are 1/2 off during Happy Hour, and there's a variety of deals on beer as well. Pint House is great too because they open up all the windows when it is warm to create such a fun, welcoming ambiance! The service was great - our waitress was so attentive considering how busy they were. The spinach and artichoke dip was AMAZING! They gave such a large portion of chips and dip for only $7 during Happy Hour! I definitely can't wait to go back! Cheers

Service was amazing! Jeffrey was very attentive and gave us the best customer service. Our friend left his card at the table and he ran down the street to give it to us. He definitely made our experience at Pint House exceptional!

Perfect place to watch a ball game. Great Monday deal 50% off industry night! Stoned Shirley mocktail and spinach dip were superb!

Short rib nachos are sooo good. They used to have a blood orange margarita that I wish they would bring back--but I'll still go. The back area with picnic tables is great with a big group!

I had an amazing experience at Pint House! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Keenan, the bartender. He made the afternoon even more special with his incredible service, craft beer recommendations, and genuine conversation. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and the experience. The selection of craft beers is top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Whether you're there for a casual drink with friends or a full meal, Pint House delivers on every front. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely be returning soon! 5 stars all the way!

Unfortunately, the setting and location of this place is great; but the quality of individuals who work there is baffling. Always in a mood as though they don't want you to be there. Went to order food and the waiter said "I guess" when I asked to place my order. He said it would take a while and he wasn't the only one with the chalant, aggressive demeanor. Simply displeased, to say the least. Where is the humility!
