Shirk's Homemade Candies

Really no difference to Anthony Thomas Candy, same overpriced chocolates.Sure this is a local owned business with only 2 stores and that is why I gave it a chance.I cannot get past how expensive it is though, really for 6 little chocolates I paid $8, YIKES!They didn't even taste great, truthfully, one cannot tell the difference between these and ones out of a box.Oh well, live and learn.

You just can't beat homemade candy! This is a wonderful, local, family business run by friendly people. They have a wide variety of candy to chose from. Give them a visit. You won't be disappointed. I went there today and bought mint melt-aways and chocolate covered almond toffee for Valentine's Day.

Some of the best chocolate and caramel I have ever tasted. You can tell they put a lot of time, effort, and patience into making their candies homemade. Sure, they are more expensive then going to a CVS or Walgreens to pick up a box of chocolates, but you can truly taste the difference! So many varieties, they really make each one by hand. I make sure to order some for Easter, Halloween, Valentine's Day, and for that special someone in my life!

The candy is good but it's not a milky chocolate ... like I like it. They do get my business though because people do like their variety of candies. It's just not my kind of chocolate. Very friendly.

Close and convenient. I like how Small it is because I'm not overwhelmed by stuff. I could live here and die here of diabetes... haha, very kind people too...oh oh the pecan log things are mind blowing...I am totally ok with paying a little more Because it goes into good and talented hands!
