Sharky’s Fish & Chicken

Got the fish combo choice of two items with fries and a slice of bread. The catfish nuggets and chicken wings are bland. The lemon pepper season is needed. But she was light handed on it. The fries were overcooked.The food was hot, but the containers they use are too small to hold the food.

I wanted to give this spot a second visit before submitting a more appropriate and realistic review...I first tried Sharky's right after eating another meal, but I didn't know they existed. I know I should have waited, being semi-full, by my greed won the day. My first experience was with the Italian Beef special: two sandwiches, fries and a drink (for only $6.99?!?!?). The sandwich was delicious, mind you I asked them to put the dipping sauce on the side for fear of a soggy end-product after too long of a drive. Then again, I parked in the lot next door to enjoy it fresh. Vegetables were fresh and expertly supplemented what was already a hot, juicy, tasty grade of beef. The bread had a good flavor as well. Add the crispy (and not overcooked) fries with lemon pepper seasoning and I became an instant fan.My second visit brought me to my test meal (for pizzerias, I always get sausage and pepperoni for a fair comparison), my staple catfish sandwich/sub. Again, cooked perfectly; not hard at all. The inside was temperature-hot and wonderfully flaky. Trust me, everyone doesn't get it right, but they did. I ordered the fries again with root beer for my drink. In case you didn't know, like the movie City Slickers, you have to get the right flavors for the right situations. This combo was only $7.99, if memory serves, which I'll put against any drive-through, overpriced, fast-food mass-producing spot. If I have my choice, I'll have mine made at a place like this.The wait time for both of my meals was fairly short, which seals the deal, giving Sharky's Five Stars and two thumbs up, which I'm sucking the juice off of...Each time I was served by Ahmed, a very kind and charismatic gentleman who clearly takes pride in his work. I told him I'd be back soon to try that chicken special, among other items.If you're looking for something new and old school in quality, definitely give this place a try....and as always, tell 'em Kenny sent ya!

Well to be honest I love a good sub sandwich. This place however didn't really meet my expectations. The sub meat was not the best quality in my opinion. I look for a good sandwich I can't make at home . This spot would not be my go to since pizza shops subs and other sub shops taste better . This is just my opinion though . But I'll always try a place at least once . But for the price I would say you get what you pay for .

Me and my daughter love this place! We got food from her twice this week! First time I got the chicken and steak Philly that was so big the container cracked because of the sandwich size! Daughter got the wings!! Delish! Today we got the tenders and wings and shrimp and we were not disappointed! Perfectly cooked no frozen crap! Owner was so friendly. This is a must if you haven't been there!

Such good food! One of the best in town after fisher down the street. But fisher has random hours. Sharkys also has a better menu with hush puppies and more! Downside: sharkys has pretty slow service.

Good is always hot and fresh! Consistent with the taste. My new favorite neighborhood restaurant!

Very glad my fiancé and I tried Eddy's today for lunch. I got the gyro sandwich and he got the Philly cheesesteak. Both were cooked well and very delicious. If you order online, it said the order would take about 30 minutes. It ended up being ready in about 15 so I was a few minutes late picking it up; regardless, the food was still warm. We will definitely be back.

We stopped on our way from the airport to our hotel since we wanted to try something local but we were in a rush. The owner was very kind, didn't rush us even though I took a minute to order at the drive through.The fried catfish may be the best I've ever had. It was fried just right with the crispy outside and no grease/oil soaking into the meat. For a side I had fried okra, it was also very good.My daughter had chicken tenders, and both her and my son agreed they were amazing. If I'm ever back near the Columbus airport, I'll make the detour to visit again.

Excellent fish. I don't like catfish but the way it was prepared it was delicious. It was for a group and what brought was enough for all to have a good portion.

The food was hot when we got it and the catfish nuggets were so good the okra was delicious and the fries were on point.Thank you Yelp for helping me to find this place.So good.10 stars
