Sharks Chicken, Fish, & Shrimp

I have never gone to Sharks and had a problem with service. The guys who answer the phone and wait on you once you get in are amazing. Calling ahead for your order is definitely the move. Pros: Off street parking, okay prices, timelinessCons: I feel like it's either lemon pepper seasoning, or no seasoning at all, panhandlers are often in front, inconsistent food sizes (please see pic).The last time I went I got the chicken wings and jumbo shrimp meal. Five of my shrimp were okay. However, there was one that was obviously not right. Again, see pic.. Like, really? I need another half of shrimp the next time I go.

I've had Sharks before and really enjoyed it. This was a bad experience. My wings were overcooked , mac n cheese bland and cold, fries barely seasoned and lukewarm. The okra and hush puppies were actually good. I felt bad because it was my first time introducing a friend to this food and I promised her a treat. Her tenders were also bland and overcooked. Hopefully this was just one bad experience.

Me and my fiancé really enjoy eating here. The fish and chicken were great and very flavorful. Prices aren't bad either! Will be going back!

This place is the best forget about the others I'm Hooked. I have only tried the wings and catfish and can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

So this is a great place in that it is open late in an area where not a lot is, and it offers a ton of different types of fish, which most places, even pricier casual restaurants, don't...BUT, it's low quality fish, for sure. I enjoyed and appreciated the meal I got here (fried tilapia sandwich, comes with fries), and it was pretty cheap ($6.99, and the sandwich was BIG). However, knowing that I could have bought two frozen tilapia fillets for $3-4 (these were definitely frozen) bothered me. When I'm feeling really, really lazy, I could see myself returning. Primarily a carryout business. In fact, I'm not sure there is any seating, when I think back on it. Also, on another visit, when I took the only picture of the place on Yelp, I was nearly attacked. Haha.

I was craving some regular fried chicken wings so I order some from here today. I ordered them fried hard. When I got home the wings were not very crispy and they were not seasoned at all. This place uses the "lemon pepper" that a lot of places use; the white powder substance. I don't care for it so I asked that they not put it on the wings. Unfortunately it looks like that's the only seasoning that they use. The place looked very clean and the staff was really nice, but I wasn't very impressed with the food.

I had the fried shrimp and catfish, along with an order of 8 hot wings. Service was quick. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. I like my fish fried hard, so when it was on the softer side, I was a little disappointed. Shrimp was great. Breading and seasoning was perfect. When they were finishing up my order they asked if I wanted "the seasoning". I had no clue what it was, so I said sure. It was lemon pepper seasoning and they covered EVERYTHING with it. Too much was put on, but it was my fault for not asking questions. 4 stars because the catfish could have been fried better.

This place is not following food protocol. They are frying fish, chicken and shrimp in the same grease and basket. Chicken pre fried and put back in the grease upon order. Sick from eating here please be careful!!!!!

I do not think you guys understand the magic that is happening in this kitchen. Hands down best wings I've had in Columbus. Perfect crispness and meat literally falls of bones. The bbq sauce spanks. On top of the wings they give you hella fries with seasoning and it's for 15 bucks or less...come on now brother. Shit slaps please endorse this business. Real heroes of the pandemic

I got the #8 combo catfish and shrimpLots of food... it was good! The whole meal was dusted with some sort of seasoning mix before it left the store. I don't know what was in the mix. I detected peppery and spicy but not hot. It was a good addition. Not lots of sides to choose from. I'd come back if I was in the area again
