I had a free class courtesy of this business and trapeze yoga was on my bucket list so I took my 56 year old self here for an adventure. I was 15 minutes late as I had written 930 on my calendar but it started at 9. My bad. I was welcomed in and given a quick catch up. I practice yoga at another studio so I was sort of prepared. I was by far the oldest student and that's ok. I'm giving a five star rating based on the whole student vibe. The young ladies were happy and had a lot of fun. That's important and to be respected. The class is geared for all levels and enabled all to achieve really pretty poses utilizing the hammock swing trapeze strap set up. We all got pictures to admire of ourselves looking graceful and strong. If I had any suggestions, it would be to turn off the music as the cuing was hard ( for me) to hear. Also, I wished the hammock could've been a little lower as it was a bit high for me to get one leg up into it and stand. My balance is pretty good so I hopped a little to maintain, if I had been totally inexperienced, maybe not so much.Thank you so much for the opportunity to practice, Julie.

I came here because I had a groupon that I used. It was a good class but I was under the impression that it was a yoga class, not a HIIT class. The owner Julie was very kind and focuses a lot on gratitude and giving back which I really loved. I loved that the classes were smaller and more intimate so that you could actually receive direction if needed and that you were not feeling cramped. I just think that there is a lot going on at this studio and the website can be confusing at times. Overall, a great studio and owner and highly recommend for pilates and yoga!

This is place is awesome! I've taken 3 classes here: Yoga with Melissa, Pilates with Julie and Restorative with Anna. All 3 classes were great. The studio almost always has parking in front which is awesome for a downtown location. The classes are typically never packed so it helps me feel super comfortable and like the instructors can really sense what the class needs. I also get their emails and they have tons of other happenings at the studio that are really cool to be in the know on. I am definitely interested in checking out the new retail space and I am happy to support a local, woman-owner business.

I've been meaning to review this studio for a while because I really love it here. I've been coming on and off for years. I don't enjoy working out. What I love about this studio is the focus on building a sense of community and finding a connection with your mind and body. They're very positive and welcoming. All the instructors are different and their vibrant personalities offer a variety of strengths. I would recommend trying different classes because they're all so different. Here's my summary of each. Yoga with Melissa: Great for improving and learning yoga. Melissa gives one-on-one instruction and can modify any pose for you. She starts the class by asking everyone if there's anything she should know about injuries or stress on your body. She'll even improve simple poses like downward dog - "Try moving your feet closer together, see how feels". She's very attentive and body positive. If I say this is too hard or that I'm slacking she'll respond that you're letting your body reenergize and finding your space. Two thumbs up, and hands to my heart.Pilates 7 with Rachel: This class is FUN! But challenging. It's always full so come early if a good spot is important to you. The music is bumpin' and Rachel's energy is spunky. She sets the Pilates routine to music. So you pulse to the best. She rotates the routines monthly. Sometimes they are tough, it's a good workout that'll make you sweat. Any class with Alexander: I think of Alexander as the heavy metal ballerina. He's classically trained in ballet but he loves to rage. His classes are both mentally and physically challenging. You might do something like a push-up REAL slow or hold in chair for what must be forever. I always feel stronger when I leave his class because he pushes me to question my limits, go a little bit further. Any class with Julie: Julie is the owner of the studio and she's so knowledgeable, a published author and holds several degrees from OSU. Her classes bring me to deep thought, finding gratitude and holding space. Coming to the mat, being present, and leaving the world at the door are some of the mantras. Seven studios is based on 7 wellness principles you'll hear more about if you practice with Julie. There's a ton of other classes and instructors. These are just some that I most frequent. They all seem pretty awesome in their own way. In the summer, they also do specialty classes like rooftop yoga and paddle board yoga. You'll probably see the instructors in the Commons too for the free summer series! Just some general things: they have water bottles and filtered water available for free. Yes, you have to park at the meters, it's never been a problem for me. There are meters on that block and all the surrounding blocks. I don't complain if I have to walk a little, since I'm trying to get a workout after-all! There's two rooms, if your new just ask anyone where your class is (I still have to do that sometimes). I'm summary, I really love it here! Don't be surprised if you run into me in class sometime.

Great studio - always improving!I've been coming here ever since it opened it 2013 with a few hiatuses due to work schedule. They have a great selection of classes guaranteed to give you a great workout. The instructors are motivating and friendly and very fun! This place is more than a studio, they really pride themselves on being an inspiring space and creating community. The owner, Julie is one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met in my life.In response to some of the negative reviews - they don't have anyone to "greet" you per say when you come in but there is a sign up sheet when you first walk in but i could see how it could be intimidating because there are 2 rooms now that they how classes in. Since they do focus on building community it might seem like everyone there knows each other and that can also be a bit intimidating at first too - but trust me, after a few classes you'll have made a bunch of workout buddies too!

I got a Groupon deal for six classes. You have to create an online account to reserve a seat for any class. That took a couple weeks but since they'd they have updated the website which is a lot easier now.The classes range from yoga, pilates, barre, to some atypical classes like POUND. POUND is, my favorite class, a fast moving low impact class that will make you sweat. There isn't a front desk. The first time coming to the studio is a chaotic but follow the regulars and the instructors will ask if anyone is new or have any medical/ physical issues they need to be aware of.

I was really eager to try Seven Studios, and my friend and I purchased a Groupon to do so. We were both incredibly disappointed that we couldn't reach anyone at the studio, via multiple emails, phone calls, and voicemails, for over two weeks to try to register. You have to set up an account on the studio's website to register for classes; however, there are no options to redeem a Groupon, so you must contact the studio with your Groupon info to have an account set up manually. On the Groupon instructions, it states that your account will be set up within 24 hours after you email the studio with your code. After a week, not only was our account not activated, but we never even heard from anyone. We tried to call or email with questions and to register over two weeks. In the meantime, the studio was very active on social media... The classes look awesome, and I am very attracted to their philosophy. Needless to say, I'm bummed. We had our Groupons refunded (because at this rate, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to take full advantage of the services by the expiration date). I suppose I could have paid the full amount on the Seven Studios website to register if I was so eager; however, I am so disappointed in the customer service and lack of communication that I don't know if I'd like to risk it. Will they only help me if I approach them without a coupon in my hand?

Great instructors and a very peaceful yet full of energy space! Every single instructor is amazing (of course I do have my favorite!), they share not only their experience and expertise but their emotions and goals so you feel instantly a part of this community. I would love though some boot camp classes throughout the week after 5pm as Saturday or early in the morning is not as easy. Keep up the good work!

I found out about this studio through a groupon and have been very impressed. It's in a nondescript building near Columbus Commons, but there has been ample free parking for the evening classes that I take.Clean, good vibe, lots of different classes/experience levels available. My only negative comment would be the pricing, outside of groupon it's a little bit more than I like to pay for a single class, but I can see the benefit of the monthly passes if you plan to take more than one class a week.
