If you lack cultural sensitivity then just have the food delivered. If you go during the day I imagine your experience would be completely different from what you would experience at night. I got a two for one when I went around 8pm on a Sunday night. I got a good taste of authentic West African/Senegal food and a little taste of the culture. I heard Wolof being spoken for the fist time and it seemed like it was coming from every corner. I didn't care to eat there so I got the food to go. The Lamb kebab was seasoned nicely, had a little kick but it was aight and it went well with the couscous. I might go back again to try the dessert and the jollof rice. Nothing really aesthetically pleasing in or out side of the building except the people and the food.

This place was amazing! The owner was very kind and very helpful to us in deciding what to get as it was our first time getting Senegalese food. We ordered bissap and bouye to drink, which were both sweet, unique, and very tasty. For our appetizer, we ordered the fish fatayas, which were super flavorful and came with a nice onion sauce. We settled on thiebou yapp and whatever the first selection under the "Sunday" part of the menu was (we believe it was lamb kunde, but it wasn't named) for our entrees, and while we liked both a lot, we definitely favored the thiebou yapp. The lamb in both dishes was tender, the level of spice/ heat was perfect, and the flavor was excellent.Delicious food, more than fair prices, and great service!!

First time eating African food. The owner was very patient , and helpful . I chose Thiebou, similar to fried rice, with a piece of chicken on top. I loved it, and loved me experience at Senetaste. I will definitely be back!

Delicious, authentic Sengalese at an affordable price. I tried the #3 and I look forward to tasting many other numbers...great choice, and even some delicious juices I had never tried before. The staff is amazing and friendly, offering all sorts of tastings ect...only issue appears to be better for pick up rather than dine in, and more so in the winter.. as it only seats a few tables and the front door let's burst of cold air through every shut and close. Looking forward to going back again soon!

A local gem - after multiple.trips I'm always impressed with the service and how helpful they are. Often giving samples of tea, coffee. Great unique dishes. Watch out for the peppers they are sneaky spicy!

Amazing! My friends and I just moved over here from Kansas and we are in love with this place. The owner is super calm, fun, and delivers an incredible experience here. The food is immaculate. Perfectly cooked lamb, shawarma, and rice sides. The selection is large, so it's something for everyone. Some foods have options to do non spicy, for easy going people like me lol. Go show him some support this place deserves it!!

The food is good but the service is horrible . After sitting there over a hour she tells me she forgot to give the cook my order . I asked for a refund and she refused . She ran to the back and came ba k with my food . Walking out the door this guy tells me how people not from Africa get treated different. Even make their order last .

Very rude, can't call and ask questions, if you're not Senegalese they will treat you with much disrespect. They belittle you when they speak to you and their portions are dishonest. Go to Chez Rama instead.

The customer service was terrible, they only help and serve Food to their kind. Everybody else either has to wait a long time or won't get their order fulfilled.
