Unfortunately, After many visits....to tag/estate sales by Michael I have to leave this unflattering review. My friend and I had taken the 25 minute drive to the most recent sale. It began at noon and we arrived about 25 minutes in. It was EXTREMELY busy. We looked around and about 20 minutes later we went to check out. My friend was going to lend me the cash for my purchase and our total was $36. It took the cashier a while to determine that the four items totaled $36. He was sniffling a lot so he may have had a cold. My friend took out her $100 bill and handed it to the gentleman he gave her change back for a $50. My friend had shown me that very same bill when I asked if she had cash because I'd forgotten to get some on the way there. Nevertheless, he insisted that she was mistaken. The other person that was at the table next to the gentleman looked in what I can assume was a cash box under the table I cannot be sure but she said well what's this. The gentlemen again insisted that he placed the bill that he'd been given right on top. And my friend again said she gave him a hundred dollar bill. This went on and the other person at the table had by now gotten up and started calling the person in charge. She must've seen him coming back because she came back to the table and once again looked in the cash drawer and asked, 'What's this here?' The gentlemen asked 'what' and she said 'this on the side here.'According to her it was a hundred dollar bill at the bottom of the pile and another hundred on the side. When the person in charge came up he went straight to the gentlemen bypassing me, my friend and the woman on the other side of the table and asked what was goin on. Now the gentlemen started saying they're accusing us of taking money from them to which the person in charge replied well we aren't gonna steal from anybody. Then my friend stated that she knows she gave him a hundred. He then stated we wouldn't even take a $100 bill. As I stated earlier we'd been going to these sales for a few years, and they ALWAYS took the hundred. When she asked if they would count up the till at the end of the day and found it to be over would they give her a call and give her the missing $50.The response was, 'you know you're not satisfied with us then we're not satisfied with you!' We felt bullied and intimidated and the person in charge told the gentleman to give her her money back, (ONLY $50 was returned) He continued, 'You can leave and don't ever come back!'Never thought I'd be traumatized at an estate sale but this left me with some trauma for sure.

Sold a car for me at estate sale. Did not show me the contract or have me sign it. I would not have signed it and would not have agreed to the terms. The buyer disputed it and went to small claims court. This could have been resolved if Dale had communicated. Lost half of proceeds to settle small claims case. Watch your back!

The biggest mistake was hiring Dale. The sale was poorly organized, his prices were too high, he was rude to me and to customers. I received a lot of feedback after the sale from people who attended. They said he was not willing to come down in prices even on the last day. He ruined the carpet by not putting down plastic, as there was torrential downpours on the sale day. I paid extra for haul away and cleaning of the house. He said the house would be ready to sell when he left. The farthest from the truth. There was trash left on the floors, carpets filthy, he promised drawers would be all cleaned out,.... another lie. A few days after the sale, an elderly man knocked on the door asking if he could buy the car. He stated that Dale was rude, priced the car way over blue book price. We made a deal on the car. When you have a sale, the purpose is to get rid of the stuff!!!! Instead I came to the house after the sale to find Waterford Crystal on the floor in a heap. Neighbors told us they go to a lot of sales and this was the poorest run sale they had been to. I reached out to Dale with no response. Many said he should be reported to BBB.

We absolutely love Dale! We've been going to his estate + tag sales for years. He recently helped us sell some furniture at top dollar that we couldn't sell ourselves for 6 months on Craig's List. Don't go anywhere else for your estate appraisal +/or estate sale needs!

Dale Devore was the gentleman who helped us with an estate sale. We are moving overseas and Dale was able to help us sell practically all our belongings. He was efficient and very knowledgeable. He was on time and even helped with aftercare. I highly recommend Dale and this company.

My daughter furnished most of her first apartment with his estate sale. Solid furniture at great prices. Thanks Dale and the sweet lady who assists at the sales. (Sorry, I don't know her name)

We hired Dale Devore for a small tag sale in Galloway. We were very disappointed in his handling of the sale and I have listed the reasons why below.1. His "workers" were all vendors (folks who resold or had existing shops)...they had the pick of items before the public, which is okay, however how were we to know if the value was really low.2. When the sale started there was Dale and one other person checking everyone out. There were no other workers checking to see if folks were filling their pockets instead of purchasing items.3. On the last day (50% off) his friends or associates appeared and 50% off became "best offer". Needless to say, 90% of what was sold was best offer.....not near the 50% off figure. This is not a "sour grapes" review. Do your homework and ask questions before hiring a company, regardless of the reviews or what you are told by the owner.

Dale is amazing! My brother died unexpectedly in Aug. 2015. We live in Maryland, and traveled to Columbus to settle his affairs. Dale was so helpful. He held the estate sale, and worked with our estate attorneys to coordinate the emptying of the house. He took care of what was left in the house after the estate sale, and he had the house cleaned, so it was ready for settlement when it sold. He took care of everything! I highly recommend him.
