This was our first time in Columbus after seeing it listed as a "must do" in the city. We had never been on a Segway before but our tour guide David was a great teacher and had us up and going in no time. We were on a weekday so the area was still fairly empty so we had lots of room to maneuver as we drove through the downtown area. David is knowledgeable of the area and the history and is also entertaining to hear asHe tells the stories of Columbus, mixed in with a few "dad jokes" that are good for a laugh. We had an amazing time and now are looking for more tours similar to this one. Thank you David!

This is a excellent Segway tour. My wife and I had never been on a Segway before and were a little nervous about it. David, our tour guide gave us a lesson prior to hitting the town which was easy to follow and fun to practice. The traffic was light and David made the tour interesting with informative facts about each area we visited. We also got to play around a little on the "pony's" during our travels. David is very upbeat, knowledgeable, fun and safety conscious during the tour.We had a great time and highly recommend taking one of the tours with David at SegAway Tours.

My husband and I were up for a new adventure on a date day so we decided to try SegAway. We are so glad we did! We had to ask a hotel employee to point us in the right direction of the store but once we did, it was easy to find - near the food court and main lobby of the hotel (inside the convention center). Everything was explained clearly. After about a half hour training session, we hit the streets on our segways. Our tour guide (Ron) was extremely knowledgeable and added fun amounts of humor throughout the trip. We enjoyed the city tour; even though we had been to Columbus hundreds of times, we actually learned a lot! Don't worry if you think you won't be able to ride a segway! They'll teach you and once you get the hang of it, you'll feel like a pro! My husband and I both agreed that we would loved our experience and even discussed reserving a spot for a holiday tour.

Great Segway tour! Located near the food court in the Convention Center. The guide was an absolute delight. This is a very fun way to learn more about Columbus if visiting or even a resident. If going on a chilly day, ensure you have gloves and a hat. Comfy shoes are also wise. The guide will hand you an earbud that you will wear throughout your tour so that you don't miss word he says. In the beginning, you'll receive some introduction and practice with the segways. By the end you'll feel very relaxed on them.

Where do I begin? The Columbus Segway Tours are freaking amazing!Half hilarious and half genuinely fun. I did the Columbus Holiday Segway Tour. It was complete with holiday music played through speakers in your helmet! The $40 hour and a half long tour took us through the Short North, Goodale Park, arena district, and downtown area. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable with the city's landmarks. The tour starts out with a little Segway training session. It felt a bit awkward at first, but we were zipping away in no time like pros. The reactions we got from pedestrians and folks in their cars was priceless. After the tour was over and I was back on my feet, I was very disappointed with how slow walking is. Seriously, after Segwaying, walking is just stupid. ;)When it's warmer out, I want to do some of the longer tours.

If you are from Columbus or just visiting, be sure to take the SegAway Tour. You will not be disappointed! The first minutes of the tour begins with instruction on how to use the Segway. I think I know my center of gravity pretty well, but it did take a few minutes to get the hang of it. After learning how to simply stand on the Segway, I was able to maneuver with ease!Dave, our tour guide, was very nice and very funny! Speakers in the helmets let me hear him throughout the tour. He ensured everyone's safety by telling us of any bumps in the pavement, pedestrians on the sidewalk, and upcoming crosswalks. The tour was very educational! I definitely learned a lot about some of the sights around Columbus. Dave relayed a lot of history and trivia about many of the landmarks, and he kept it interesting. Before the end of the tour, we got to do some "obstacle courses" around the Convention Center. It was the true test of how fast and how easy it is to use a Segway. If you can walk, you can Segway!Tours are limited to 6 people, so be sure to call in advance for a reservation. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Took my family this past Sunday (10/9/2017). What a great time we had. The owner was the one who led our tour. He did a good job showing people how to ride and a few safety features, as well (about 20 minutes). For the tour itself, everyone got a radio earpiece to be able to hear him talk (great idea, by the way). The tour around town was about 90 minutes and I found it interesting. The owner was passionate about it and his energy showed. Overall, a very good family event for older kids...or even a cool date idea.

Very awesome experience here. First, David, the guy that made the reservation for me (and perhaps the owner too...not sure) was really helpful in making sure I was able to do the tour at my preferred time. When I called, the only available tour was 10am. However, he called me a few days later to let me know that the 1pm tour had two openings (for my hunny and me). How nice is that???Jim, our tour guide, was also great. I was one of those scary people that couldn't do anything right and he was patient with me the whole time. He was very funny throughout the tour and really fun to be around. The one thing that made me a little sad: It starting raining during our tour and although it wasn't all that heavy it was cold outside and the combination of the two was hard to deal with. I think this should have constituted a reason for cancellation (the website says that the company will cancel in heavy rain conditions). Many of our fingers were numb and it became really uncomfortable for me during the tour. I couldn't wait for it to end because of this reason and I was cold and sneezy for the rest of the day. No fun at all.Besides that, I think this was a great tour. Probably even better on sunny days. If you're a student at Ohio State, you can discounted tickets at the Ohio Union. I highly recommend it.

We've never been on a Segway before and thought this was a great way to see the city. David walks you through the first wobbly moments and by the end of the tour we were all pros. David is a great host funny and knowledgeable...his Ohio and Columbus pride really shines through. I highly recommend this tour
