Overpriced is one thing. But to be harassed by some Entitled manager with hippy hair about carrying my emotional support dog. Then to get to the end of the isle to get harassed by some cashier making 8$ an hour! Like for real off! This place sucks! I haven't been there in 22 years until I moved back and went in the other day and it's a bunch of over priced items, small selections, jerk offs working for Penny's questioning me about my emotional support dog which is 100% AGAINST THE LAW

If you advertise you close at 7, stay open until 7. Having an employee stand in the parking lot to tell people they can't come in is false advertising. We needed 1 item that would have take 3 minutes to grab from the shelf and check out. I am not someone who would expect workers to stay after their posted hours, but kicking people out the parking lot 10 minutes ahead of close is unacceptable and is why those of us who want to support local sometimes have a hard time doing so.

I used to love this store. Then one day I stopped and got to the door at 6:55, 5 minutes before their closing time only to be told that they were closed. I asked if I could just go in and grab one thing since technically they were still open and was told no. If your doors close at 6:55, the sign should say closes at 6:55, not 7:00. I was a regular here... I knew many employees by name. Needless to say... I'm never giving this establishment my money again. I was a manager in a grocery store for 4 years. Never ever would I do this to my customers or members of my community. It's a shame.

We have been spending more time here for several reasons. First, it is important to work from the community on out, and the tremendous selection of local meats is phenomenal. We use the ground lamb and ground sirloin to make the best burgers in the world, as well as for the basis of great meatballs for soups or casseroles. The layout is so much more inviting than our big-box stores, and though the prices for regular commodities can be a bit higher, it works out fine for quick-to-grab items. The cheese selection is exemplary for a small store, and also a great selection of decent wines and beers. The frozen meat selection is also extensive and will fit your any need from brats to chorizo. Fantastic staff, and a great place to get only what you need in a brief time.

I've only been there three times, but every time I come I realize I need to go here instead of all the way on the other side of town to Kroger.Apple Pay is super convenient, and it feels so cool to pay with your phone in a traditional supermarket setting. Retro futurism.Besides that, it's always clean when I go in, and they always have what I need. (Granted, a small selection, but still!)

I may be a townie, but I know my meat. Been shopping here since the early 90's, it's my meat headquarters. The grapes are good too.

They have the best prices on meats, and it's hard not to stock up every time you go! It's a nice small shop that isn't overwhelming, but still has a nice selection of groceries --and lots of great wines! - Highly recommended!

I'll admit Seaman's was never my first choice as the prices are high and they have less selection than any grocery store in the area. With that said, here is the story of why I avoid Seaman's like the plague: I popped in and bought some breakfast food one morning only to find out when I got home that the roll of sausage was spoiled. OK, these things happen so I put a chunk of meat in a plastic sandwich bag as "evidence" and went back to the store to get a refund. I'm almost certain the woman I showed it to was management. She was downright unfriendly and demanded I retrieve the sausage wrapper from my trash at home (although it had only been about 20 minutes since I had bought the meat so the cashier recognized me/collaborated my story). I received no apology whatsoever from this management lady so I was slightly annoyed at this point. I went home, dug the wrapper out of the trash and stuck it in another sandwich bag, came back and showed it to management who then pulls all sausage from that brand off the shelves. Well THEN this lady opens my second sandwich bag of rancid sausage & wrapper (let me tell you- this thing REEKED. It stunk up the entire checkout area ). She took the sausage wrapper out of the bag -with her bare hands- and proceeded to rescan it at the register to refund me. Visible hunks of rancid sausage were all over the register at this point as she -again with her bare hands- handed me the refunded amount. She took no effort to clean off the scanning area at all. The hunks of death sausage were still on the counter when I left. **TL;DR rotten meat, rotten management, probable health code violations**
