Scotty's Cafe

Ever been to a place that makes you feel immediately at home? Where the delicious aromas from the kitchen make your mouth water? Where a warm smile and sincere handshake are the chicken-soup-for-the-soul you didn't know you needed kind of place?Scotty's is that place. I was lucky enough to meet Scotty and he has this plane running like a top. Service was swift and friendly, drinks were never empty and the Reuben was memorable for being outside of NYC! Feels like a well established local institution with the reviews to authentically support the praise. Highly recommend!

We we went to celebrate a friends 92nd birthday ( there were 12 of us )! Service was excellent and inviting!I ordered the latkes and $6 special, which was flanked steak, roasted potatoes and corn! The dish was very hearty and delicious! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal as well! Scotty's Ambiance is a truly diners experience!

What a little hidden gem this spot is. Found it on the hunt for breakfast closer to the airport and when I saw the reviews I had to try it. When I found it tucked in the middle of a strip mall, I was surprised. The decor inside is so perfect - it makes the down home cafe seem more upscale. The menu was your expected items from omelet to French toast to eggs with bacon and potatoes. I went with a vegetarian omelet and it was packed with veg

I would say the place is tiny but homely. The service is spot on. I absolutely love there rubens. I substituted rye for white and the taste hit me perfect. I asked for mayo, mustard, onion, and extra sauce. The meat was tender and I loved every bite. Prices are a lil pricey but very well worth the buy

The customer service and the environment in the restaurant was so great. In today's society it's so nice and refreshing to walk in somewhere that treats their customers like family. The server that we had was so sweet. I wanted a 3 cheese grilled cheese so he told me about the "Cadenator". The Cadenator and the tomato bisque was heavenly. I can't wait to go back!

Wow, great place for lunch or dinner. Great food and generous portions.When in doubt go here you won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful establishment I go every time I get a chance. The atmosphere is so relaxing the waiters/waitress give you the upmost attention while simultaneously giving that same energy to all the other customers in there. And we haven't even gotten tho the food.... Which is amazing my fav is the western omelette talk about loaded I can barely finish the whole meal. It is family owned and the wife and owner serve and great guests . Our favorite waiter is Mark... they are all great we just don't know their names.ps my drink was never empty go and experience family oriented place "where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came "

Scotty's is a place we visit often. The food is excellent the staff is the best in Columbus and Scotty is a hoot. Mrs Scotty is a lady of no comparison, she makes divine cookies. Little crowded for my taste but I just don't like crowds. can'tYou cam't get better grub or be treated any better anywhere. Now my hope is the next time I get the opportunity to chow down there I haven't created more crowd. That would be great for business but not so good for this old grouch.The entire experience at Scotty's is a pleasure and Scotty visits each patron. The wait staff are excellent and attentive.
