Placed and order on August 6, 2023. Was scheduled to be delivered August 8, 2023 between 3pm and 6pm. It is now 6:31 pm and still no order. I called the company and they said there was some problem. I asked then why didn't they text, call or email me? She said let me check to see when the next delivery is and I said never mind just cancel my order. She said ok and that was it. I had ordered from them several years ago and got the same problem and stopped ordering. Thought maybe they had changed. NOPE I was wrong. I will never order from them again.

I've been reintroduced to Schwan's as of the first of this year and have been enjoying monthly deliveries to my Door a great selection of Frozen Groceries. Much of my experience reflects the same as John W's review of this 65 year old delivery company that has changed with the times and now offers convenient online ordering. I can place my orders at any time up to the night before delivery or shop directly from the delivery truck and have my order dropped off in freezer bags if I'm not here to receive it. Offering not only some great Ice Creams, but a premium selection of frozen meats, veggies, breads and other items that make cooking at home fast, convenient and delicious. Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Truck specials make this service affordable to most budgets and any order over $50 gets you free delivery. Multiple forms of payment are accepted and you can specify on monthly, bi-monthly or delivery on demand.I'm addicted to their Root Beer Float bars, a old skool Ice creamy treat that seems to be part of my every order. And their 'Livesmart' versions of Push-Ups in Orange and Chocolate Malt are the perfect portions for a cold sweet treat. Aside from the ice creaminess I really enjoy the selection of frozen breads for fresh baked goodness without worrying about it going stale before I can use it. And the "Chef Jet" Pan Seared Pork Dumplings are my house favourite for a fast flavourful restaurant quality meal. To say the least, I've been slowly working my way through their catalog and haven't found anything that hasn't been high quality and some that are becoming monthly must-haves in my freezer....

My girlfriend spoke highly of Schwan's. So wanted to give them a try. Placed an order June 20. Earliest delivery was 17 days later which was surprising in such a large metropolitan area. We rearranged our schedule to be here for delivery. On delivery day, I logged in and saw they changed delivery WITHOUT TELLING US, to an inconvenient date ELEVEN days later. And customer service was closed until noon. That makes it a day shy of a month to wait for a delivery on a new date that doesn't work for us.You have a choice these days between Market District, Costco and services like Blue Apron. Prices are extremely high for a service that you can't count on. I was there, but they were a no show and did not bother telling me. Update: They arranged for a special delivery a week later when we told them that their new delivery date was unacceptable and that it was likely that the June order could not be delivered until September. I had already been inconvenienced and was not going to be inconvenienced again. New delivery was to be a week later between 5-8PM. It was 90 degrees and I had ordered ice cream. Kept looking outside, no Schwan. Now it is 8:30PM and I find the bag with soft ice cream hidden behind a rocker. Can't they ring the doorbell? Why did I look? Because I kept looking at my order online and it went from "pending" to "no order". I thought they canceled again. What we tried is good but not great, especially with prices that surpass Whole Foods. Customer service and delivery is awful. REALLY AWFUL. Since I am not home bound, I am going to stay with Giant Eagle and Costco. At least then I am not waiting hours and hours for a delivery that is either canceled or delivered outside of promised times. Suggestion: Do not have them save your credit card. It is impossible to unsubscribe and delete your contact information.Not home? They do provide a freezer bag with gel packs and their website says it will keep your stuff frozen UP TO 6 hours. In my case it was 90 degrees and they only gave me two gel packs and the gel packs say that it takes 3 gel packs to keep stuff frozen UP TO TWO hours not 6. So I would not plan on being away for more than 30 minutes in the summer.

Outstanding service! Family was ecstatic when the yellow and green truck showed up with our food today. Salesperson Jason was extremely polite, professional and helpful. Made some suggestions to go with pot stickers we got. Dinner was Beef and Broccoli, Shrimp spring rolls, pot stickers and fried rice! All took less than 15 minutes to prepare. Delicious. Dessert was Salted Caramel ice cream sandwiches. If you want fabulous food delivered right to your door, give Jason and Schwans a try!

They get no stars from me - brought my delivery I placed on line for $25 - first time buyer used a $25 off $50 coupon - the delivery came, driver didn't have one item so instead I got charged $39 and one less item. Called customer service 2 times - rude said they couldn't do anything but have the driver call me. Which he did and I said I was overcharged but he couldn't do anything but tell his manager - one week later another call to customer service = nothing. I will never purchase again. Don't trust your online order amount!!!!

Order just want you want or need either online or at the door from the driver of this wonderful retail frozen food service. Food is delivered bi-monthly, but you can add items to your order at any time. The variety of food is always wonderful whether you order ice cream or desserts, frozen drink mixes, veggies, or your favorite entrée. Our driver, Bob is always on time, polite, fun and knows his products.Of course we have regular favorites that we routinely have delivered, but sadly they no longer carry my stuffed mushrooms. These were so good.When we aren't going to be home on delivery day, we call or text Bob to give him a heads up and save him stopping. We could pay online and he would leave a freezer bag for our order with a neighbor, but we've never done that. However, we've talked to several neighbors who are now part of the "Schwan's Family."Prices might be a little more expensive than buying them at the grocery, but we like the variety of foods available and not having to drive to the store, fight crowds, wait in line and the convenience of planning our two weeks ahead of time. We've been loyal customers for many years and continue to encourage friends and family to participate in this retail food service.

I placed an order with Schwan's (now Yelloh!). The order arrived on schedule, but was missing an item on November 21 2023. I wrote to company three times since then. I received no reply, no missing item, no refund. I called the number on their website and was routed back to the web site to place an order.This company sends me at least two sales promotions by text/email every day!I'm very disappointed. This problem could have been resolved with a simple reply to any of my multiple inquiries.
