We were long-time Thurman's Fine Meats customers until they closed in May. We began our search for a new butcher shop and were concerned that we might not find a place like the one we had lost. Then we found Schuman's Meats.When you arrive at Schuman's and enter through the front door, you'll notice a red number dispenser to your right. Take a number to determine your place in line. Once your number is called, you'll be quickly helped. This system ensures a fair and efficient service for all customers.At Schuman's, you can be sure that your meat and side needs for any meal, big or small, will be met. The butchers are not just knowledgeable, they are also incredibly customer-centered. We bought pork chops and were asked if the thickness was to our liking; if not, they were willing to cut what we wanted. Their helpfulness and support make me feel appreciated and confident in my choices. Schumans has an extensive selection of beef and pork products, and a delightful delicatessen with a variety of cold cuts and cheeses. While Schumuns does not make its own sausage like Thurns, it does carry a wide selection of Falter's products and Tony Packo's.At Schumun's, you can find more than just meat and deli products. They also stock staples like milk, bread, eggs, a wide variety of condiments, rubs, Tony Packo's pickles, and local butter by the log. This convenience adds to the overall satisfaction of shopping at Schumun's. We miss Thurns but are thrilled with Schumun's Meat. Give them a try.

I have heard about Schuman's for a very long time. And I finally made my way out to this meat market . I got a few pounds of chicken wings and bratwurst. And the meat was top tier. The service was really good. The way the service works is , you walk in take a number and wait until the number is called. Whichever employee calls your name, they take your order and you tell them what all you want. The price was really good, for the quality and the amount of meat you get. The meat market was really clean. The employees were gloves and just really sanitary. I can't wait to go back and try more meats!!

Wide variety meat options at reasonable prices! The staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate many requests. No frills butcher shop but they have nearly everything you could need.

Well worth the drive! Wish we had one in Hilliard. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything we have gotten has been very high-quality.

I've been knowing this place since I was a child. You can get just about every type of meat. If you want something that is not on the "menu" like soup bones or something like that, just call ahead of time and they will prepare them for you. If you go on a Friday or Saturday you can guarantee there will be a crowd. I recently went on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all. You still have to grab a number but there was hardly a wait. The workers are always pleasant when I visit.

Great service, great people, great meat. Don't be scared if it's crowded, grab your number when you walk in and they'll call your number before you know it. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a prime rib to cook for Mothers Day and Scumans was spoken of highly. After my visit, i wil definitely return. Service was prompt and friendly, they cut the rib exactly to my desired size and the piece was perfect. The meat was fresh, flavorful and made for a phenomenal meal.

IYKYK. The long line and rapid pace can be intimidating at first. Embrace it and deli shopping won't be the same again.

First time here today. Should have come sooner. If you haven't been here yet then make sure you stop in soon. Definitely worth a stop. Kim was fantastic! Helpful, nice, she made the experience even better. A great selection of beef, chicken, pork, homemade stuff, deli........a lot to choose from. Schuman's will be a regular stop for us

On my first visit to this establishment I was very pleased with the quality and the customer service that I received. However, on my second visit last week I was very disappointed and disturbed about the customer service and poor quality of my meat. My order was filled by a young African American male in his 30's. This man was very rude, condescending and passive aggressive during my entire visit. Now, I can understand an employee having a bad day but this young man treated me like taking my order was a burden. He refused to give me the size oxtails that I requested and then he gave me all improperly and odd shaped beef short ribs as well. I had to cut the short ribs properly myself. He simply would not give me what I ordered. I was furious when I opened my two packages at home. That was a long drive and $80 thrown out the window! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
