It still looked like that when I left on the 16th of August
The three loud air conditioning units over our patio wall.
Screen door to patio, showing holes there when we moved in. Noted on walkthrough by management, but will not repair!
Broken mirror, broken before we moved in. They will not repair/replace.
Trim in the kitchen. Until maintenance "fixed it" with charming, visible finishing nails, it would fall off if you went near it
Typical painted edge of glass/windows. Displays total lack of concern for the quality of the property.

Think we can paint the rest of the counter top?
The "doggie clean-up station," picture taken from my patio. Overfilled and reeking, as usual, so some dog walkers do not bother to clean up
Nice job.. just painted

We were initially impressed: club house, pool, tennis courts and all the newrby stores. What could go wrong? It started with the kids attempting to break into cars setting off car alarms. Then it was the fire which apparently was started by a kid who was burning amazon packages, according to the local news (management refused to tell anyone. When we inquired if it was a gas leak we got yelled at by management)This caused someone to start a petition which eventually was sent to management. They promised changesInstead, I dealt with failing appliances, a roach infestation from our neighbors and a drive by shooting. I paid my remaining portion of rent and just moved out. This place is derelict, poorly maintained and slowly becoming more and more dangerous. There's only one dumpster and a trash compactor, which constantly breaks down. The front office will randomly close and attempt to avoid residents. Also, people let their kids play near the garbage. This is an awful complex and should be knocked down. It would cost millions to fix, mind the awful floor plans.

This is genuinely the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. Extra charges for no reason, poor communication, and awful maintenance. I did not have a ceiling light in my room for over two months after I put in my maintenance request. I was charged pet rent for a registered service animal multiple times. Leasing office takes weeks to respond to emails if they ever do get back to you at all. Indoor pool is not heated and the pond in the complex is alway filthy. Do not live here, please find somewhere else!!!

This place is really bad. Trash allover and I saw a rat.... a big rat. I think in 2019 a child drowned in the community pool. Very poor looking places. I told my daughter to move out.

This company took the blower motor out of my AC when I asked them to fix my act unit and the mildew in the ceiling of my bathroom (it was from a leak back in 2020). The mildew build up negativity affected my allergies. This company needs to be shut down.

This apartment complex has poor resident services and is in lousy, dated, and "beaten-up" condition for the comparative rent. Our rent is 1120/month for a two-bedroom, no pets, no garage. We have met several other tenants who are paying less money per month. One friend here is paying 910/month for an identical apartment, with a dog. We have met one couple who has two bedrooms plus a den, two garages, and two dogs. They quoted their rent as "around 900.00" for all of that. Bear in mind that all of us rented these apartments between Dec of 2014 and March of 2015. Our apartment has not had any special updates or modifications. Be sure to negotiate based on this information, if you choose to rent here. They will only show the model, which, of course, is perfect and beautiful. Our request to see the actual apartment was turned down until after the lease was signed. We were leased an apartment that had many, many cosmetic issues, compared to the model (cracks in walls and around fixtures, pieces of trim falling off in the kitchen area, chipped and gouged counters, a broken mirror which they will not replace until "the apartments are renovated" etc.)(The apartments are not scheduled for renovation, nor will they renovate an apartment until after the current lease is over and a unit is vacant, if they ever do.) We were told these "cosmetic issues" do not have to be addressed. Who would feel like they are getting their moneys' worth to pay 1120/month for a place where cosmetic issues are ignored? We specifically requested a "lake view" (and the other renters mentioned above have a "lake view.") What we got is a view of the disgusting, slime-filled lake for the whole of this summer so far. Not only that, but our patio is next to three loud air-conditioning units that can be heard through the bedroom wall, and which make conversation on our patio very difficult. On top of all that, the "doggie station" where bags and a trash-can are available for tenants with dogs, is right outside our patio. The management does not empty the dog waste often enough, so on hot days, it reeks of dog feces. I would describe this "view" as disgusting and bothersome, not scenic. Also, the lake is inhabited by geese, which leave a terrible mess in the grass and on the walking path around the lake that is never addressed. The property "boasts" of both an indoor and outdoor pool. They look pretty from a distance, but all summer (until the last two weeks of August), the pool water has been WHITE. Even now, it remains filled with dead insects and debris. With a minimum of internet research, one can discover that this obviously means their pool care is quite lax. They do not test the chemical balance of the pools as they should, because the white water is a pH problem, easily remedied with proper care. The complex had to replace our old, loud washing machine which stopped working the second week, and the disposal, which was literally so old, rusted and decayed that parts from inside the disposal broke off and clogged the kitchen sink, rendering it unusable. When called, Apartment Management told us this clogged sink was "not a priority" and they would "get to it when they get to it." It was three days of not having a functional kitchen sink. When they finally showed up to repair it, it was "as an aside," because they happened to be servicing an a/c unit in our building, and stopped in because of the unresolved work order. Once they saw the mess, (standing dirty water that had backed up from the dishwasher and would not drain) they did take care of it immediately that evening. It took hours and required them to cut the disposal out because it was so old, decayed, and rusted in place. On initial walkthrough, the apartment was filthy; mirrors were cloudy with streaks and smears, the microwave was filled with old food and spatters, the stove-top was covered with baked-on grease... That having been said, the management was with us on the walkthrough, and did request a re-cleaning. Everything but the stove-top was dealt with, and they just shrugged that off and said they weren't sure what to do. Thankfully, I am the daughter of the owner of a cleaning service in Akron, Ohio, and I know how to clean things and keep them that way. The stove-top has required many efforts, but the baked-on greasy goo is finally gone. Now for the coup-de-grace. and the real reason I would warn anyone and everyone to avoid this property; BEDBUGS. The people upstairs from us moved out about a month and a half ago, and one of rooms has become infested with BEDBUGS. Thankfully, it is not the room in which we sleep! Here is the thing; the complex is trying to charge us for pest control, illegal in the City of Columbus! They've known for a week, and done nothing.

I honestly would not even rate this 1 star if I didn't have to. I've been pretty lenient with this complex... neighbors harassing us, no parking past 8 pm, apartment slowly falling apart. Every time you try to call the clubhouse, they only offer excuses. As of right now, the way they are handling the coronavirus pandemic is atrocious. They are withholding information about tenants who are sick and incited false alarm by sending an email claiming a tenant has coronavirus, only to email an hour later saying never mind. They do not have plans in place to help those who are laid off, because they simply don't care. On top of this, my apartment has extensive water damaged that occurred a week ago. I live with three others and my ESA, and we have exposed dry wall... in the kitchen, dining, and bedroom. They have yet to relocate us or inform us of anything. It's absolutely disgusting the way we have been treated, especially when today we were told rent was agreed upon in our contract and it doesn't matter that we are in a pandemic. Conveniently the complex had nothing about what happens in the case of disasters or pandemics in the contract.

This place is fine. But that's about it. The units are outdated as well as the appliances. I can never seem to keep the kitchen cabinets clean no matter what I use to wipe them down (I'm not sure what they're made out of/coated in, but it's not easy to clean!). It also seems that they repaint the counter tops for new tenants? Which seems very strange and unsanitary to me based on how much they've peeled over the course of our time here. Most of the facilities have been unaccessible a majority of the time I've lived here (15 months) due to renovations. And there are TONS of kids always at the pool.I was also recently cited for having plants on railing of my patio? Mind you, they have been there since May. It is now August and they JUST NOW decided it was a problem. We moved here from the Grandview area to shorten my boyfriend's drive to work. They also waved his application fee because he works at Honda, so I suppose that was nice.Overall, the place is fine and the office staff is fine, but there are most likely better places out there for your money. We're looking forward to moving out at the end of our lease.
