$14, and it's so bad, I could only eat not even 1/2 of it. Noodle was undercooked, greasy and no flavor. I pulled a strand of noodle, and it's just "break" with zero elasticity. Staff couldn't care less, just the common "Sorry for that!". I'm familiar with your food, but it's getting worst now. I don't think the owner gives a darn about this place anymore. It's so good when it first opened. Now, it's not even meh....simply bad.

So this place is in the North Market in Columbus Ohio, this Market is pretty cool and is full of food vendors of all different ethnicities. It was about 40 degrees outside so when I came across this ramen place it sounded good. This place reminded me of a place in Japan, it is an open concept with a bar seating around said open kitchen. In the back they have pots of broth bubbling away and it all looked very good. The place was super clean and the staff was very friendly. I went for my favorite and tried and true Tonkatsu. This version of Ramen has the normal favorites on it such as green onion, earwood mushrooms, charred Chasu, marinated soft boiled egg and the twist....pickled ginger. Oh yea and noodles The broth was pretty good, it was porky, fatty and hot. It had good deep flavor. The egg was good. Most times places over cook these eggs but not this place, it was well cooked and it was jammy and had great flavor with the soy marinade. The Chasu had great flavor, maybe just a little tough with the chew but the broth made it a little lessTough. The noodles were great as well. They were chewy, had a good bite, not over cooked and held the broth well. I couldn't be happier with them. So if everything was good why the low rating? Unfortunately it was the pickled ginger. This ingredient ruined the whole bowl. It was julienned cut and put as a topping and I like ginger but it's a strong ingredient and a little goes a long ways and when you mixed it all in all you tasted was ginger. It's amazing how one little thing can ruin a whole dish. Would I go back? YES! I would but I would order it without the ginger on it. Maybe nextTime I come through Columbus go back and redo the review on an update without the ginger being in the bowl. Go eat some ramen y'all!

I decided to give this ramen spot another try recently, and I am so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, and you can really taste the care they put into their dishes. The marinated egg was my favorite part and I can tell you it was amazing. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff even checked in to make sure everything was to my liking and that I was enjoying my meal. I'm already planning to come back and try more of their menu - highly recommend giving this place another shot if you haven't in a while!Reccomendations:OnigiriSeasonal Ramen Karaage

Stopped by North market and decided to try Satori Ramen. It was rainy outside and ramen just sounded so great. We were very pleased with the ramen and how flavorful it was! The staff was very friendly and it was neat getting to see then make the ramen infront of you. I would definitely come back again!

I ordered the Paitan Chicken Ramen. I must say I was not impressed. It contained exactly 3 little pieces of chicken. The bowl was half full and the employees were not accommodating. I had not been here in two years and the service was not the same. I only went their for my son. The price of the bowl was 15 dollars not worth it at all. I will not return here because the food is not that great or the service.

Food -- Some of the best Ramen I've ever had! I had Tonkotsu Ramen with spice level 2, an extra marinated soft-boiled egg. A rich and flavorful broth that was probably more of 2.5 level spice. It came with green onions, seaweed, some other veg and 2 wonderful marinated soft-boiled eggs. The yolks were jam-like and tasty. The noodles are soft with a little chew. 100 times better than the packaged stuff, and I like the packaged stuff. The pork was tender and cooked perfect.Food = A.Ambiance -- Situated in a corner of the North Market. It's a small space with a tiny overall footprint. Those folks really make it work. People are always ordering or waiting to order, and people are always sitting at the bar eating or waiting on food. Always busy.Ambiance = A.Cost -- For what I ordered, noodles, extra egg and two bottles of water, around $20+.Cost = B.Environment -- One of many quaint little eateries in the North Market. A bustling bizarre of many types of food and fare. It has about any kind of fresh and prepared food you can think of. Sweets, snacks, fresh seafood and deli offerings, just to name a few. The North Market is really enjoyable experience if you're a foodie. Lots of patrons.Experience = AService -- The service is fast and efficient. Workers always doing something for an order. You watch them prepare your food and it doesn't faze them a bit. They stay focused and on task. Quality and friendly group.Service = A.Overall -- Superb Ramen in a wonderful location and setting. You won't be disappointed. Satori never disappoints. Neither does the North Market.Overall = A.

I went on Tuesday evening (around 5:30). Parking was super hard that time (lots of meter street parking but hard to find a spot). I ordered 3 ramens online and they were ready within 10 minutes. The person who put my food together was super nice but other staff didn't even say hello when I stood by the register to pick up my food. I felt uncomfortable waiting for my food I felt they were giving me dirty looks. Here is my review the noodles used were all the same-had a nice bite. I tried the food upstairs of the building (North Market) but the noodles were already getting clumpy so I recommend eating there and not take it home.Paitan: fried chicken was ok and the broth didn't have much flavor.Miso: a bit oily but the broth was flavorful and fishy (in a good way-smelled and tasted a nice aroma of fish). Pork was good, too, I wish it was a bit thicker.Aburasoba: this was my least favorite. This is brothless ramen but there is some sauce on the bottom. The sauce was so vinegary, salty and almost bitter. I hate leaving food over but had to. Couldn't finish it. So with the parking situation, not friendly staff and mediocre ramen, I give this place 3 stars.

I ordered the miso soup. It was super salty. Luckily I had sriracha and a lime at home to balance the flavor. Other than that it was tasty.
