I was working in Marysville and it was food-thirty (time to eat). Did my normal Yelp scan of places nearby and came across Sakura. Unassuming from the outside but it had solid ratings. I ordered the General Tso's extra crispy, white rice, Gyoza and eggroll. Everything came out in good time, eggroll and Gyoza first. The eggroll was crispy with good flavor and duck sauce. The gyoza was excellent tho!! Crispy fried on one side and soft and doughy on the other side. The dipping sauce was perfectly matched and I really enjoyed the flavors! The General Tso's came out and the plate looked colorful. I like mine done extra crispy and it was. A little more heat than I would've liked but that's the only concern I had. Broccoli has a nice snap to it and the rice was sticky, just the way I like it. I'll definitely be back to try something else off the menu. Unless you like spicy kick, order the General Tso's kicked down a few notches.

Sakura is THE best Asian food in the county hands down. The service is top notch. And the ambiance is about what you would expect from an affordable dine-in establishment. Nothing too fancy which is how they stay affordable. But the food should cost a lot more than it does for the quality. I highly recommend eating here.

Good quality food for a reasonable price. We got two entrees and two egg rolls. Both were good and we took home half of the meal! Service was a bit slow for my taste (also because including our group of 6 there were only 10 people eating here). I'd go back again for sure.

Came here to celebrate a send off party for my buddy that I haven't seen for 35 yrs. The place is perfect since we enjoyed our last visit. All the staffs here are so nice and pleasant. It's a family business and they all help each other serving. Mine was the teriyaki hibachi sizzling chicken which I will recommend. I had Siomai and Gyoza(dumpling) for appetizers and my wife had the salt and pepper shrimp. Everyone was happy. Big portion. When I called they said no reservations needed coz it's first come first serve but when we got there our tables were ready for us. Glad we came here and will definitely come back over and over.

Sakura is another Asian place in Marysville. It has some good competition. This is also apparently owned by owners of a couple other Asian restaurants. It has a pretty large menu. There's some good lunch specials. In Marysville there's been several new Asian places that have opened. Sakura iskind of in between quality. This is better than China Wok. It seems these are owned by the same people. So the food at China Wok sucks, but they do better here. It's not quite as good as Stir Fry. That's a restaurant not owned by these owners. I had the Mala Tofu. It's about $8 for the regular portion. This is spicy enough that it needed no more hot sauce. I would consider coming here again. It has a lot on its menu. There's Chinese, Japanese, and Thai.

Truthfully speaking, Sakura has some of the best Asian food in Marysville. There aren't a lot of options to begin with, although it doesn't mean their food is A-okay or subpar by any means. I tried this place recently for the first time since living out this way, and I was pleasantly surprised in a good way! First of all, Sakura has great options while some of the competition has a much smaller menu.I have ordered the Lo-mein (Chicken), General Tso's Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, Wonton Soup, and there Egg Roll. All of which were good! The Wonton unlike most places do not skimp on the amount of Wonton Noodles you get, and the flavor is good! Even better for the price! They offer online ordering with (Covid-19 Era) for simple ordering and make it right every time! Their prices are very well rounded, and portion size is more than enough! I have not to date been disappointed with the ordering, delivery, quality, or taste of the food. Seeing as I order from here about twice a month they have a great reputation for great food, at great prices! I have not ate inside as I never tried Sakura until this year (2020) and they only offer take out at this time. They have a window on the outside for walk-up ordering and delivery. They also have doordash as I have seen them show up to pickup for a delivery to a customer. Hands down for the price they are some of the best Asian food in 25 mile radius. Yes there are some other places, but with all things considered they rank high in my list.

Celebrated Valentine's Day after church with family once again. We became friends with the owners here. Yan and her son were so attentive with our needs. Food is always excellent and the price. Everyone is happy. Wonderful experience overall. We will come back over and over.

Fantastic food served piping hot quickly. Tofu homestyle was a lot of food, vegetables with tofu covered in a mild gravy. My friend had lemon chicken and said it was too lemony. So if you like lemon you're in luck. They seem to only be doing carry out right now.

Sakura Asian Bistro has changed ownership hands a few times since their open date forever ago and are now a solid and established competitor with other Marysville Chinese restaurant options. The Japanese/ sushi section of the menu is long gone, though they retained the Japanese name for consistency. The current owners and staff are legit mainland Chinese. You will find black bean sauce, Szechuan peppercorns, and other classic Chinese tastes incorporated into the foods. Their mapo tofu is the only authentic one in town and some of the best I've ever had (seriously try it, it is SO GOOD). Do be warned that of the local Chinese restaurant options, this one is the spiciest by far, and some things you don't expect to be spicy, might be. (Example: chicken with string beans also had some heat to it from incognito green peppers) Always ask them first, if spiciness is a concern of yours, and be wary if something is marked spicy: try their normal heat level first, before indicating you want extra spicy, even if extra spicy is your default with other restaurants. The vast majority of their business is take out, and they have online ordering through their website as well as taking phone orders. I have always received accurate orders, and their service is quick. English fluency of all the front staff is high, so have no worry when asking questions or calling. You can still dine in and the dining room is clean and attractive. Just be aware that the majority of their business is take out, so the one manning the register will be your wait staff. If you have a huge group or want very attentive, dedicated service, the Stir Fresh Asian Canteen would be a better choice. But they are perfectly serviceable for a casual dine-in lunch during the work week or small group at dinner.
