Cycling OTET and wanted a cabin for a single night due to all the rain today. They have a two night minimum and wouldn't budge. Such a shame. No cyclist wants to stay two nights.

A great place to get away. Nice swimming hole for kids, adult kids as well. The family running this are all wonderful people. Everyone was extremely friendly. Some long timers set up and all were wonderful to lose time in conversation. The back area was huge with grass. My pups got some great exercise in to help being cooped up in the truck for so long. We happened to catch the bluegrass bands while we were there and it was nice to have in the background. They didn't stay up too late either. I would stay here again if ever in the area.

Been camping here for 4 years. We love it. Always clean and everyone is friendly. Lots of room to play and pond is so big for swimming with a trampoline and slide. Fishing pond is fun for the kids too

We stayed a couple nights on Mother's Day weekend. Very friendly staff and campers! The campground was gorgeous and offered several activities for the kids. They even served free breakfast for everyone on Sunday in honor of Mother's Day. The only downside is that the RV sites are very close together and the fire rings are in the rear of the site so there is not much privacy. If you own a larger RV, I would suggest staying at one of the sites at the entrance of the park as those are larger sites and offer more space/privacy. Would def go back.

One of the most unfriendly places we've ever stayed. They price gouge people that they think might have money. They raised the rent from 550.00 a month to 750.00 a month plus electric because pipeliners camped there. The guy has anger issues. He told us to leave because he overcharged us on electric and my husband called him out on it. Would never recommend this place. An old couple came in and asked if they give discounts to seniors and he told them they were already getting discounts because they were getting wifi and a nice view. Never seen a campground owner so hateful!!!! He told us his father owned the campground before and he was hateful to people , the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree there!!!

Camping there for the 4th of july.. we wanted to stay 2 days but they said it's a 3 days max. They charged us 100 bucks for staying in a no electricity camp site. the flushable toilet was clear at the other end. had to use porta potties that was nasty. My friend got her purse stolen out of her car. Rude security guard. We did not feel welcome here at all. We will never stay there again..

Had a wonderful time this weekend. The owner is friendly and makes it a priority to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves. Beautiful scenery. Nice pond to cool off in and a lot of activities for the kids. We found our new go to campground for sure!!

This campground is one of my favorites. This place is family owned for 3 generations now and it SHOWS. They take great pride in their campground and the experience you have there. When I get out of the car, the thing I notice is the sound of children- not screaming and making you nuts, but laughing, calling out to one another- like my neighborhood in 1985. There is a swimming pond with mult floatie slides/bouncies etc- small ones in a sep section for littler ones (added 2021). Sand beach on the pond, separate fishing pond, creek runs through the grounds. The pond is better than a pool- our young teens will spend an hour at a pool but hours at this pond. Speed limit is strictly enforced at 2mph- so your kids can safely ride bikes. Theres a game house that I never seen anyone in bc the kids are outside! They have activities every wknd- some better than others (but they are all fun- some are awesome though). We were there most recently for the camp wide water gun fight. You would think ok thats cute for the kids. Till the owner comes through on a truck bed with a huge power water hose! My husband and I had so much fun and the teenagers loved this too. Theres a rule to keep music within your camp and be quiet at 1030 but it really gets quiet by 10. We sit outside then with our music and a drink and fire then bc everyone with small kids is exhausted and has gone to bed. Its peaceful and beautiful bc its well treed throughout and also out in the middle of the country- no open field stacked with RVs. Read the camp rules you are provided when you arrive- bc theyre funny. But def follow them bc it helps keep the place the environment it is. Im not sure how much fun the campground is w/out kids- bc its def tailored towards fam fun. But I think you would enjoy it either way personally.
